In the year since it was born, Double Shot has earned a reputation around the brewery as one of our proudest accomplishments. We have learned a ton about the base beer and how it interacts with our favorite coffees. The 3rd Anniversary Blend is a culmination of those efforts! We brewed a bigger base beer than ever to support the addition of Guatemala Finca El Injerto, Hair Bender, and Sumatra Mandheling. The result is a rich and complex coffee beer with flavors and aromas of chocolate covered espresso beans, molasses, and brown sugar cookies… Your senses promise to be rewarded as it warms. A real treat, we think!

Let me start by saying that Double Shot (and variants) is the best beer that Tree House makes. This was an especially good rendition of that great serious. Intense sweet espresso. Smooth. Chocolate. This was up notch from the norm as far as Double Shots go.

Perfect. I don't even generally like or appreciate stouts, was at the brewery to purchase Julius an Haze and this stout blew me out of the water. amazing taste of coffee, chocolate, decadent mouthfeel (maltodextrin?), Sweet vanilla and maybe maple overtones, could be dessert, or even breakfast, can't think of a better way to start the day. A wicked awesome brew
