Another 3rd Anniversary one.
Same appearance as usual.
Nose pretty much basic double shot, hint of blackberry seed, generic berry, very light coffee.
Taste again basic double shot, some jammy blackberry, little seed notes, little generic berry and very light coffee like the fruit took away from the coffee but at least is decent.
Mouth same as usual.

Enjoyed at the 3rd Anniversary Party at the brewery. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured into the custom Tree House wine glass a dark brownish black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of nice chocolate, faint sweet malts. That being said, I'm getting next to no berries on the nose.
T - Taste is much, much more like it. Loads of blackberries and blueberries, almost boysenberry taste too, though I was told by Nate there was none. Very nice chocolate too. Berries are more jammy than fresh, no real tart seed either. Honestly, tastes like Backyard Rye without the barrel characters.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated and creamy.
O - Overall this beer was absolutely delicious. I just wish the berries translated more on the nose.
