Family, summer, barbecues. . . Independence! We brewed Eighteen as the beer we wanted to be drinking this Fourth of July. She's dry, soft, citrusy, and supremely drinkable for such a big beer. We taste a melange of bright citrus paired with pungent hop bag saturation - a culmination of sorts between C15 & C16. We hope you're able to enjoy it with good company and in good cheer this fourth!

16oz can 7/3/25.
Pours clear gold with a half-inch head of white. Average retention with moderate lacing. Peachy and a bit piney in the nose. Medium bodied with a somewhat crisp mouthfeel. Zesty citrus on the palate with a firm bitterness. Orange pith, pine resin. Finishes fairly dry and bitter.

a: golden yellow amber color with a 1 finger bright white head
s: some malts and sweet citrus. crackers, and a hint of alcohol. sweet grapefruit and a nice crusty bread backbone
t: sweet citrus and honey crackers. some malts and a hint of tang powder. sharp orange zest and some fresh dough
m: medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation
o: it's not that complex, but it's really really well harmonized. nice balance for a DIPA - malt sweetness, some hop juice and just a kick of bitterness. it's nice because it's not really that stick
