We are very excited to partner with our friends from Gracenote Coffee Roasters for this special rendition of Double Shot! The Kenya Irati beans were selected after an exhaustive cupping and blending session, resulting in a well integrated and bright rendition of our favorite coffee beer. We experience flavors and aromas of dark chocolate, chocolate covered espresso beans, a caramel / brown sugar note, and cardamom-like spice. The mouthfeel here is robust and syrupy, with soft velvety carbonation - a true standout on this batch! It is, in our opinion, the result of what is possible with the careful selection of ingredients and the spirit of true collaboration. We are so excited to share it with you!

Probably a 5/100 rated beer but lost a tiny bit for being too sweet for me. If you like a sweeter coffee stout this will definitely be a must have.

Pours a thick black color, with a medium sized, fluffy brown head.

Smells of fudge, slightly tart wild berries, cold pressed coffee and marshmellows. Coffee goes hand in hand with a slightly roasted, chocolate entangled earthiness. Showcases an intriguing cold pressed coffee sweetness, together with rock sugar and a pleasantly integrated milk acidity.

Has a supersmooth, medium carbonation, resulting into a mellow, truly silk, awesome mouthfeel.

Tastes of milk chocolate, fudge and lots of cream, soothing roasty, still chocolaty coffee, reminding me of sugared espresso. This is all about smoothness, rich layers of milk chocolate blend into cream and sugared, roasted coffee, enriched by bitter chocolate after the swallow. A lactic tartness adds to the richness of the profound coffee, finishing clean, roasty and bitter among tons of chocolate.

Features a rich milk chocolate creaminess sticking to the tongue, until the pleasant coffee bitterness enriches the body of the beer. Espresso sweetness remains on the palate till the very end, exhibiting a flavor intensity, which is ridiculously for the beer's relatively low abv. Another awesome beer from this brewery.
