This beer was designed and brewed for Lauren to celebrate and reflect upon our second wedding anniversary! A rich milk stout base is amplified by a large addition of cocoa nibs and a blend of our favorite coffee. The flavor profile punches well above its alcohol content, with heavy milk chocolate and chocolate syrup notes balances by a gentle and rounded coffee character. Despite its heft it retains a wonderful and fluffy drinkability. I sincerely hope it can be enjoyed and shared with someone you love. The gift of chocolate, for Lauren.

From a pint can dated "Spring 2026" poured into a Sensorik goblet.

Pours a deep black with a 3/4 inch mocha brown head. The head settles to a thin film on the surface. Nice sheets of lace ring the glass.

Aromas of rich dark chocolate and sweetened coffee, some roasted malt notes.

Flavors of roasted malt hit first, followed by dark chocolate and coffee, then the roasted malt on the finish. Sweet at first then some bitterness on the back end. The combo of chocolate and coffee are balanced well with roasted malts.

Medium to full body, not syrupy but thick enough so that the flavors linger for a good while.

This is possibly my favorite stout using chocolate and coffee. It's like a mocha flavored confection served in a glass.

Cheers to MutuelsMark for this one!

Pours a fairly carbonated chestnut/mahogany with one thumb of tan head. Above average head retention & nice lacing

S: Coffee, some chocolate, some iron notes, a whisper of smokiness once warmed up, but also fades a little

T: Follows the nose, a kiss of caramel & dryness up front. Rich chocolate, a little caramel & less coffee as this beer warms up, skewing more towards mocha. Finishes with some Baker's Chocolate, dryness & plenty of mocha

MF: Medium body, creamy/silky carbonation; perfectly balanced

Great take on the style, very dialed, been a long time since I've one in this ABV range that just hits all the right notes. Superb drinkability. So much to love here

What are wonderful beer! Pours dark as ink with a dark, frothy tanish head. Nose smells like chocolate syrup. Taste is just like the nose except not as strong chocolate flavor as the scent. Nice bitterness on backend, however not overwhelming.

L - Deep black with a large creamy tan head that dissipates somewhat quickly, leaving behind a thin cap
S - Rich dark chocolate, roasted coffee, slight lactose, roasted malts
T - follows the nose - rich dark chocolate up front with roasted coffee and roasted dark malt intermixed and on the back end. Finishes slightly sweet with lactose. Slight faint, nuttiness on the backend.
F - full bodied with moderate carbonation - smooth, soft, creamy
O - a solid milk stout. Simple, but well done

Pours a dark brown, but appears black in the glass, with two fingers of foamy mocha-colored head. Nose is roasted malt, Hershey's syrup, bitter coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, coffee, some sweetness from the chocolate syrup. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy feel. Finish ends mostly dark chocolate, faint sweet cream and almost a nutty element like chocolate-covered peanuts.

A-Midnight colour with a luxurious brown suede head that reveals a solid lacing mosaic
S-Lactose aroma working with a cocoa powder fragrance underneath a strong malt backbone that hints the complexities of a barrel aged bevy.
M-Thick luscious mouthfeel with low end carbonation and a full body
T-Wonderful chocolate syrup flavour off the top with a smooth coffee bitterness to finish off this great milk stout
O-Exceptional
