Moment of Clarity is an American Milk Stout carefully brewed and conditioned with coffee, chocolate, and dark amber maple syrup. It pours beautifully in the glass with a rich, mousse-like head and dense complexion. It exhibits strong maple and chocolate aromas on the nose and recalls chocolate covered maple cream candies in the flavor. Though dense and flavor filled, it still maintains a certain fluffiness that makes it easy and pleasant to drink a big glass of. It is a wonderful and decadent treat that, for us, evokes a yearning for relaxed Sunday mornings with a pile of chocolate chip pancakes.

I had no idea that a stout could taste like this, flat out delicious, if a little sweet. But somehow it works so very well. The feel is more like a BBA Stout but it’s not. Wow, I want a case of this.

L - Deep black with a tan head that dissipates relatively quickly with minimal lacing
S - rich maple syrup, roasted coffee, dark chocolate
T - dark chocolate, roasted coffee and dark malts, maple syrup - but a rich, roasty maple syrup. There's a roasted nuttiness on the backend with maybe slight cinnamon as well? Caramel, molasses.
F - full bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth, silky, sticky
O - Tons of flavor for a standard milk stout

Black coal with a nice tan thick creamy head. Nose is very much cocoa. The flavor matches the nose perfectly with a smooth creamy chocolatey, slightly cola flavor. this could be one of my favorite tree house beers of all time.

Courtesy of both @wunderllama & @roguer from '25 BIF--hard to know who's can I grabbed but they are both stamped the same 2025 on the bottom so courtesy goes to both.
Pours pitch-black with two fingers of foamy, cream-colored head. Smells of dark chocolate, coffee, and maple syrup. Taste follows the nose with heavy dark chocolate and coffee notes, in addition to maple sweetness. Mouthfeel is creamy, velvety, and moderately carbonated. Finish is light lingering bitterness, some more dark chocolate that molds into sweet cream. 7.7% abv is well-hidden and this is dangerously good.

16 oz. can dated Winter 2025
Pours dark black with a small thin light brown tan khaki colored foam head. Smells like sweet dark amber maple pancake breakfast syrup, milky cream, dark chocolate, bold coffee, roasted malts, hint of char, caramel candy, toffee, toasted brown sugar, subtle dried dark fruit, with mild earthy hops. Tastes like rich dark amber maple syrup, creamy milk sugar, bold roasted coffee, rich dark chocolate, roasted malts, toasted brown sugar, toffee, caramel candy, slight pretzel, a hint of char, subtle dried dark fruit, with mild earthy hops. Feels full bodied, creamy and thick, plush and smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a really great milk stout with coffee, chocolate and maple syrup.
