Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.60%

Availability: Limited (brewed once)

Notes / Commercial Description:
A concept originally devised in February 2013, The Curiosity Series has been a staple of the Tree House hop exploration for nearly the entirety of our existence. It has afforded us the opportunity to experiment outside the current bounds of our understanding of how hops behave and express themselves when faced with difference variables throughout all phases of the brewing process.l This has allowed us to grow as brewers and as stewards of the beautiful hops hard working farmers provide to us from all corners of the globe. Fifty exemplifies our approach to hoppy beer, with impressionable fruit characteristics that never become cloying or burning , but more juicy and saturated as you work your way through the glass. The lower alcohol content also allows for easier drinking beer with almost no sacrifice in flavor of character. We taste and smell peach predominantly, with hints of citrus and melon provide depth and intrigue to a beer we are excited to share with you as we mark one milestone of many to come. Enjoy.

Sweet, creamy notes of pineapple, peach, and orange sorbet with a touch of sweet biscuit at the end. Smooth, easy drinking, and distinctively Tree House.

aromas are pineapple, peach, tangerine, and grapefruit, some sweetness in the background. palate follows for the most part and has that signature soft/creamy grainy bread character and a pleasant touch of sweetness - there is orange sorbet and grapefruit flavors, sweet doughy malts overpowering any bitterness and creating a candied fruit quality. some melon and peach rings dancing around for sure, a herbaceous green quality keeps this one somewhat rounded but overall its a sweet, doughy, ripe fruity delight. well done and the mouthfeel is lush!

The big 5-0. Thanks to rudzud, canned 7/12

Pours a large pillowy frothy head that hits 1 finger and fades at a slower pace, nice soapy lacing, hazy murky burnt orange color

nose explodes with citrus hops, tons of stone fruit peachy juice and like an apricot/peach candy, orange cream, mango sorbet, a ton of pith and pulp, a bit of a vanilla orange cream, and maybe a touch of canteloupe

Taste brings a lot more of the same but seems muted, white peach and some stone fruit, juicy peach into juicy citrus as well, more like a nectarine tangerine blend, with a ton of pulp and thick chewy creamy mouth, plenty of flaked oats/wheat whatever, soft, a bit more vanilla orange cream and some mango sorbet notes as well, a touch of candy again with mild cracker doughy malt, some canteloupe later, a drier finish turning the hops into a little spicy piney note. A touch of an oily resiny note sticking there that seems to turn me off a bit the more I drink.

Mouth is med bod but soft juicy creamy like, nice carb, typical Tree House IPA

Overall pretty solid beer, wish the taste popped a bit more especially on the peach, but citrus was nice, enjoyable.
