For this rendition of of All That Is we added over ripe pureed bananas. The result is a beer that reminds us of chocolate covered frozen banana pop or a delicious chocolate and banana sundae. . . Rich chocolate character balances so beautifully with the soft distinctive essence of over ripe banana. A fun treat and a beer we are excited to share with you!

Pours opaque, jet black in color with one half inch head. Taste is big bananas, vanilla, and roasted coffee. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet and roasty. Best banana beer from Tree House. Could have several.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured into a Tree House tulip a nice dark black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Big aromas of chocolate syrup, fudgy brownies, big bright coffee grounds. Definitely a milk stout. Huge slightly sweet almost earthy banana elbows it way through everything. Definitely unique natural aroma that smells like the batter of a chocolate banana bread.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with excellent chocolate syrup and bakers chocolate. The coffee is nice and rich, good roast. Nice lactose, not overly sweet. The banana isn't overly aggressive and allows everything else to come through, however, it's no slouch. Very rich there is a great banana flavour.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, however, the banana adds a ton of body. It's rich and silky.
O - Overall this was a superb coffee milk stout. The coffee notes are excellent as is the chocolate. What sets it apart is the banana. It adds tremendous body and pops wonderfully on the nose and taste without becoming overly cloy or coming across so strong as if artificial. Just really well done.
