Baby Bright was carefully crafted to showcase the beautiful unadulterated hop character of Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo in an easy drinking, clean, and light bodied package. This beer is fermented with clean American Ale yeast allowing the authentic hop character to shine through brightly. We taste tangerines, apricot, and candied grapefruit balanced by a soft bitterness that dissolves gently on the tongue. The hard working crew here at Tree House could not be more excited about this refreshing, easy drinking entry to our line-up. It is a study in balance, elegance, and restraint.

Canned 8/15/20, tasted 9/23/20. This is a tough beer to review, because it is what it says it is - a restrained, low ABV, light-bodied IPA. Unfortunately, that means that the flavor and mouthfeel just don't hold up to one of Tree House's classic IPAs. As a very quaffable light IPA, it is quite good. But personally I'd rather get a heavier beer that comes with richer aroma, taste, and mouthfeel.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence, muffin top glass; best by 05/19/20, code NOT FOR BABIES.
A: Pours a hazy, lemon yellow color with a two finger, foamy, white head, solid persistent retention (half a finger) and foamy, broad rings of lacing.
S: Basil overlying a grassy and grainy aroma. Basil persists throughout.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Palate somewhat different from the nose, vegetal (basil) early, but fairly lemony with other citrus (white grapefruit, tangerine) notes. Moderate, highly balanced, and refreshing bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with a light effervescence.
O: This is a very, very drinkable, dare I suggest, sessionable AIPA from Tree House. Were it available locally, I would always have some in the 'fridge.
