I Will Not Be Afraid is brewed with an assortment of chocolate, roasted, and pale malts and carefully dosed with cacao and coffee. We taste intense syrupy dark chocolate, caramelized candy sugar, chocolate covered espresso beans, and a hint of cherry cola. The additional of black currant adds an additional layer of dark and mysterious flavor to the beer resembling plum and earthy, jammy dark fruits. It is luxurious and silky, like chocolate clouds, yet never relies on an overly saccharine complexion to bring out the intense and complex flavors we have worked so diligently to impart. We welcome you to enjoy it while you relax here at Tree House.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a great two finger mocha head that fades to leave light lacing and a creamy blanket. Superb.
S - Big aromas of fudgy chocolate brownies, bakers chocolate, light malts, sweet red berries. No discernable alcohol.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with excellent chocolate syrup and bakers chocolate. Rich brownies followed by some lightly sweet lightly tart jammy berries. Like dense brownie swirled with fruit. Or, German black forest cake.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, silky smooth and creamy, alcohol hidden wonderfully.
O - Overall this was a very solid imperial milk stout. The appearance and mouthfeel are spectacular. Nice use of fruit to bring out the critics of the chocolate even more. Really enjoyable.
