For this rendition of Expressionism, we imparted the character of chocolate truffles through the careful use of cocoa powder, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Coupled with the base beer, the result is something teeming with mystery and intrigue. We taste dark fruits, chocolate, cocoa powder, and even a hint of cognac. There’s another note in there that we would best describe as herbal dark chocolate. This is a wonderfully unique beer, and one that will reward the curious and inquisitive palate.

On tap at the brewery.
This one just assaults the senses with chocolate. Expressionism is a stout that is already heavy on the chocolate malts, but this dials it up to 11. To some this is great, but man it's just syrupy and cloying.
I love chocolate, but I also know when to say "when". Too much for me.
