We are so pleased to offer another freshly packaged Curiosity for your enjoyment in the New Year - Curiosity Fifty Six! Fifty Six finds us experimenting with a number of process variables, including mash salt adjustments, pH, kettle hopping rates, and fermentation temperature well outside the box of what is standard to our process. An intense hop bill of Amarillo, Warrior, and Citra saturates the beer in a way that is wholly unique to Tree House. Dense fruity notes of apricot, mango, and orange marmalade coat your tongue and nostrils before a firm citric bitterness entices the next sip - It is so enjoyable! The Curiosity series has afforded us the opportunity to explore and understand the cause and effect of literally hundreds of brewing variables over the course of its five year history. It is vitally important to enhancing our intimate knowledge of the brewing process and allows us the chance to make tremendous leaps forward in a short period of time. Each batch is a highly enjoyable singular excursion that ultimately contributes to the overall depth and quality of our core line-up. Enjoy!

This one is really good and I can see it becoming a full offering from them. If they put this in a King Julius can, everyone would be fooled. It's got that classic thick, creamy mouth feel that all the whale IPAs from TH have. Total juice bomb and back in the day this would create a 300 person line easily.

L - one of the best labels yet. Beautiful sunset colors and I'm a total sucker for Christmas trees. Pour is a pale, turbid yellowy orange juice. Has that milky quality to it with thick, heavy, unrelenting haze. Minimal head, which is surprising, but it also didn't *pop* the way it usually does on can crack.
S - what did jump out upon cracking the can was a big, tropical aroma. Mango and peach with a side of grape candy. Deep melon and strawberry banana. Wet and heavy, ripe fruit for sure.
T - a bit more bitter than anticipated, but that comes after the initial fruit salad punch. Bright peach, green mango, acidic grapefruit, and that simultaneous oaty sweet tartness. Bubblegum and dat soft, supple marmalade. A mixture of orange, peach, and grape. The entire time, this zesty bitterness pervades. Like eating a delicious but spicy meal. You're amazed at the flavors, but at the same time the heat is peppering you into oblivion. It tastes so good and you can't stop eating, but you're starting to sweat and breath heavily. Yet you can't stop.
F - feels like there's oats in here, but probably not. It's relatively thick and smooth with minimal carbonation. Such is life at Tree House. A joy to swish between the teeth.
O - Tree House occasionally brews a peach-forward melon bomb that's right up my alley and this happens to be one of them. This time we're balanced by potent acidity whereas with other similar creations such as Curiosity 34, we see the juice laid on thick. Sweet and sticky. This beer is refreshingly refreshing with that sweet joose we can't get enough of. This is my favorite type of beer Tree House brews.

A: super hazy muted burnt orange color with a thin off-white head
S: hugeeee mango, clementine, and creamsicle. Sweet vanilla/lactose, guava, strawberry, passionfruit, and melon slight bready notes at the end
T: melon, ripe mango, pineapple and guava. Sweet malts, vanilla, creamsicle, and papaya. A little bready malts and caramel towards the end as well. A touch of bitter grapefruit at the backend as well, with so sweet tropical fruits to close
M: solid medium mouthfeel, pretty fluffy. Low carbonation
O: nice DIPA. It doesn’t have the sticky sweet hops that many in the style do. It’s definitley a NEIPA style DIPA. Low bitterness and pretty high sweetness
