For this rendition of And Miles To Go Before I Sleep, we added ever so lightly roasted marshmallows to give a campfire and smore-like appeal to this imperial milk stout. The smell is familiar and intoxicating, featuring notes of hot chocolate, marshmallow, graham cracker, and peanut butter cups. This is a cold weather treat not to be missed!

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today. Imperial Miles to Go with marshmallow...sign me up.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice black hue with a super creamy, fat one finger mocha head that fades to leave light lacing and a very nice thick blanket.
S - Big aromas of sweet marshmallow and bakers chocolate. Flashes of chocolate syrup, little bit of sweeter vanilla as well. Not getting any peanut butter though or even any nuttiness.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of sweeter sticky marshmallow. Like huge globs of Fluff. The chocolate is really nice albeit sweet. Not really fudgy more like bittersweet chocolate syrup. Again the peanut aspect is practically non-existent. More of a genetic nuttiness. Certainly not aggressive. Like a chocolate and fluff sandwich with just a little swirl of weak peanut butter. Alcohol hidden nicely though.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, smooth, creamy, luscious.
O - Overall this was a somewhat disappointing beer. The marshmallow is excellent, however, it utterly overwhelms the peanut if there was any there in the first place. A great stout for sure, but a peanut butter stout I think not.
