Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thick mocha head that fades to leave light lacing and a thin blanket. Swirls make the head balloon back to a creamy dark mocha finger while leaving excellent lacing.
S - Aromas of lighter maple syrup, nice vanilla. Solid coffee and chocolate as well. Loads of cinnamon on the nose, like a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
T -Taste is similar to the nose with nice sweeter maple syrup and candy. The vanilla is a little muted. Coffee is solid but not overly aggressive. Good chocolate cake flavour. The cinnamon is again super prominent but never gets "hot". There is a great amount though that is intermixed with every other flavour. Pleasant bitter coffee finish.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, smooth and creamy, thick.
O - Overall this was a very solid stout with pleasant additives that really work with one another while never being overpowerful. Quite enjoyable.
