Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice hazy pale gold hue with a good two finger creamy white head that faded to leave a dense creamy blanket with light lacing. Great retention.
S - Aromas of lighter citrus peel and grapefruit. From a little distance there are waves of lychee and mango and other tropical aromas, however, the mango is super subtle.
T - Taste is nicely bitter with dank orange peel and grapefruit rind, oily. Little flashes of tropical mango as it warms up but not nearly as much as I was expecting. Certainly tastes on the greener side of things. Pleasant bitterness lingers as well. Sold fluffy malt backbone throughout.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, typical Tree house fluffy body with none of the alcohol.
O - Overall I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Definitely some high points here but it's not nearly as tropical fruit aggressive as I thought it was going to be. Drank on the greener side as well. Really need more mango.
