Tangerine TartTangerine Tart
Notes: Tangerine Tart is a tart session beer constructed to be a refreshing, easy drinking summer beer with a balanced amount of acidity and a dry body. It is brewed with a significant amount of wheat in the grist bill and conditioned upon a judicious dose of tangerines! After conditioning for several weeks in stainless it is imparted with a tight and spritzy carbonation. Tangerine Tart features tongue pleasing acidity balanced by vibrant flavors of zesty citrus, bright tangerine, plain yogurt, lemon, and subtle funk. It finishes cleanly, eschewing bracing sourness, with hints of white wheat and cracker malt gracing the palate. Enjoy!

Tangerine Tart pours a slightly hazy and golden yellow orange with a light head that dissipated instantly. The smell is big orange with juice and zest, a hint of lemon and a small sampling of lactic acid. The taste is light, crisp and clean over the palette. A tart tangerine flavor with crackery, doughy malt and an acidic characteristic that finishes with a light floral note and very dry.

Had on tap. Pours slightly hazy, orange-yellow in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is big tangerine and light sour mix. Slightly sour, light bodied, with high carbonation. Reminds me a lot of the drink Tang from my childhood. Make for a really enjoyable, sessionable beer. Could do several.

Canned 09/05/19 “it’s a kick in the glass!”
Pours a gorgeous color with a fizzy burst of bubbles. The description is spot-on....the wheat adds a nice balance to the tartness and acidity. A bit dry and definitely refreshing with loads of fresh citrus and a bit of funk. A seriously satisfying summer session beer.

Thanks to rudzud
Light fizzy head dissipated instantly, no retention, hazy tangerine orange color

Nose tons of tangerine and orange juice, fresh juice and zest, little vanilla and lactose, tangy acidic, limeade too,

Taste sweet cracker doughy malt, big citrus, orange tangerine juice, lemonade and limeade, quite tart and fair acidity, tart little flemmy finish, dry

Mouth is med to lighter bod, medium lighter fizzy carb, little flemmy bright acidity

Overall not bad, plenty of juicy citrus, little lactose ok

Great beer. Mild tartness with a buttery finish. The sweetness and the tart have a good balance with the tartness being slightly more dominate. This is among the better light fruited sours worth giving it a try of you have the opportunity.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.

A - Poured a nice hazy golden orange hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wispy head.

S - Aromas of almost sweet and tart tangerine juice, flashes of lemon and lactic funk. Loads of oily tangerine peel as well, like I'm smelling a freshly peeled tangerine.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of sweeter slightly tart tangerine juice and zest. Decent cereal grains and light zesty lemon. Super clean and crisp, lightly floral. Very slight bitterness on the finish from the peel like taste.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, bright and crisp but a bit flemmy on the finish.

O - Overall this was a rather straightforward beer. Lots of super bright tangerine flavour and aroma. Like a tangerine lemonade
