Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.
A - Poured a nice just barely hazy lemon straw hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wispy head.
S - Aromas of almost sweet and tart oranges, flashes of lemon and lactic funk. The nose just explodes with blood orange aroma. Super crisp and refreshing and almost a little spritzy.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of sweeter slightly tart blood orange flavour. Decent cereal grains and light zesty lemon. Super clean and crisp, lightly floral. Very slight bitterness on the finish. The taste lingers though with an almost bitter citrus peel and lemon. Almost like a blood orange lemonade.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, bright and crisp.
O - Overall this was a rather straightforward beer. Lots of really bright and juicy blood orange flavour. Definitely drinks like a spritzy blood orange lemonade. Lovely
