PunchPunch
Notes: Punch is an American IPA brewed with a copious amount of oats and all Galaxy hops paired with our distinctive house yeast. It is brewed to convey expressive hop flavors in a way that is juicy and refreshing to your palate, without overdone or abrasive flavors. We taste and smell ripe pineapple, intense citrus, passion fruit, and lemon-lime. Punch strikes the perfect balance between body, hop saturation, and drinkability to be an ideal beer in any situation. Love at first sip. Enjoy.

Canned 09/04/19 “where palm trees dipped and seagulls swerved”

Big fan of Galaxy so this is a easy favorite. Beautiful pour and massive aromas of fresh tropical fruit. Flavor and feel are soooo creamy, and naturally, perfectly hopped with all the tasty qualities of Galaxy. I simply don’t understand how Tree House can make beer into an art form. They can’t go wrong with any release. This is an exquisite NEIPA.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy pale golden hue with a thin one finger white head that fades to leave thick lacing and nice halo.

S - Big aromas of paper forward green hops. Nice tropical notes, pineapple and such, however it's awfully green.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of slightly sweet malts before going to nice tropical fruits and pineapples. Finish is still a bit paper forward.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little fluffy.

O - Overall this was a solid enough ipa, good notes, still rather green though.

Thanks to rudzud
Pours a huge frothy creamy dense head, great retention, and lacing, very hazy cloudy pale apricot orange-yellow color

Nose tons of doughy malt and pithy cracker doughy like, a little papery, green hops with light vtropical notes but lots of citrus and pineapple, big pineapple, little papaya, hint of citrus

Taste big pithy malt and loads of pineapple tropical, citrus, big candied fruit, pithy and a little papery pulp, doughy creamy flaked wheat/oats and some brewing salt minerals, green earthy spicy hops, dry bitter green hop finish

Mouth is med bod with creamy foamy carb

Overall not that great, ok for galaxy, but not that great of a base

L - new double helix artwork series, I see. Pours a yellower, paler shade of flat yellow compared to Tango. Typical of Galaxy. Creamy head.

S - jumps out of the glass. Rindy and zesty. Grapefruit peel, orange tanginess, and spicy pineapple. Errs a bit on the dank side of things with mild onion. A touch of acidity tingles the nose hairs.

T - lemon-lime and raw, herbal hop saturation. Satsuma, pink grapefruit, and bitter oats. Leaves a massively grassy coating all over the back of your throat. Much more bitter than Tango. Feels like it's been dry hopped a few times. As it warms, the juiciness creeps up with flavors of jackfruit and Hi-C. Strawberry kiwi on the burp. Bitterness settles down a bit after your palate acclimates and the temperature rises.

F - DIPA-like creaminess thanks to the oats. Mealy and resinous with gritty hop powder between the teeth. A dream, as always.

O - Galaxy hops bring more grassiness to the table. Not the pineapple bomb I was expecting, but feels like a rawer, more premature version of Tango. Zesty and potent with a nice touch from the creamy oats.
