For this rendition of Double Shot, our beloved coffee stout, we utilized a judicious dose of our well-rounded, house-roasted holiday blend -- Wish List! Pouring a jet black color in the glass with a dense and rocky head, Double Shot Wish List carries flavors and aromas of dark baker’s chocolate, vanilla, citrus, and a hint of allspice. It is complex, densely saturated with balanced coffee character, and a pleasure to drink. The Wish List coffee blend masterfully embodies the Tree House ideal of crafting beverages that are richly flavored but always pleasant to drink. When paired with Double Shot, a bit of inimitable magic happens. A standout batch, indeed!

Amazing coffee imperial stout. Harley any bitterness, making a rich, thick, slightly creamy, and delicious. One of the better coffee stouts I’ve had. Love it!

Picked-up two cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about sixteen dollars. My two hundred and eighty second brew from these guys. Canned on date of winter '22? Very good, very expensive.

From a 16oz can, stamped ‘secret Santa gift winter 2022.’ Served in a tulip.
Pours a thick appearing motor oil-black with chestnut highlights. Scant head formation, followed by what appears to be a little oil slick.
Nose is mildly sweet and smooth with an aroma reminiscent of cappuccino and graham crackers.
Taste is dense and coffee syrup-like. Sharp, biting, acidic berry flavor, bakers chocolate, oily orange peel, and a heavily sugared, thick, coffee roasted bitterness with a cinnamon sting. Lots of words but really mostly coffee syrup.
Feel is thick and oily, unctuous, with fine, barely-present carbonation.
Overall, she’s a sipper for certain. Heavy going but worth the effort.

Pours a charcoal black that I never thought I would wish for, but the offsetting dark khaki head comforts the sentiment.
Citrusy brightness, clean and sweet with caramel finish. Jasmine, mandarin, ripe fruit, berries, caramel, vanilla, and chocolate. Sensibly bitter roasted grind.
Spice ignited cinnamon inspired dryness combats the fudgey viscosity; balanced feel with a slight edge to carbonation.
