The Curiosity Series has been our template for hoppy beer exploration for almost seven years. It enables us to try things, and to experiment with hops in a way that’s outside the box of our core line-up. This batch was brewed with a complex blend of American hops to learn about and to enjoy the character of new lots from our 2019 hop selections. The result is heavily citrus forward, with notes of tangerine, tangy tang, orange marmalade, and orange creamsicle. It’s a great one, friends - enjoy!

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is hazy orangey-golden with a full 1-finger of white head on top. Looks good.

S: Modest nose of sweet tropical and citrus fruits. Mango, papaya, coconut and ripe oranges. Hint of vanilla.

T: Nice melange of tropical fruit salad: papaya, mango and ripe melon. Sweet oranges and orange peel. Creamsicle. No obvious indication of the 8.3% ABV at all. Drinks like a standard 6% NEIPA instead.

M: Juicy in feel, call it medium in heft. Carbonation is modest.

O: Another winner from TreeHouse, of course. Really good and a really easy drinker.

Traded for this recently as the date on the bottom of the can read 2/7 with "MOVIN' MY HIPS LIKE YEAAHHH" written above it. Haven't had one of the beers in this series in ages and this was quite like the others and Tree House's usual fare. If that's what you're after, then you won't be disappointed with this one!

Nice pour to this as the liquid was very unfiltered, a muted gold, and topped off with plenty of head. Deep sheets of lacing lined my pint glass as I worked my way through this although there wasn't a collar at the top. Lots of tangerine, orange blossom, ripe citrus, and a bit of deep tropical fruit in the nose as the taste contained all of those as well. Marmalade, grass, ,lime, white grape, and resin came in on the palate as this was sweet, fruity, and dank at the same time while having the hops linger in the aftertaste. Bread and dough on the palate as the malt was quite basic, but enough to round this beer's body out.

The same could be said for the alcohol too as it was there, but not overly noticeable, and was just was recessed as the carbonation. A bit of stickiness that remained on the palate was this beer's lasting hallmark as it was enjoyable, but not to the point where I wanted another one right afterwards. Love the label as the liquid on the inside was pleasant and up to Tree House's standards...

This was a solid imperial IPA from the always amazing Tree House Brewery. Very new release and the date printed on the can was 2/7/20. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with lots of fluffy white head and great looking soapy sheets of lingering lacing that persisted for a long time. Smells of ripe orange, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, melon and a little guava. There was also a little bit of dankness at the finish, along with malt, bread, creamy vanilla, floral hops and some faint herbal hops. Taste follows the nose, very nice balance and complexity. Great juiciness and the higher ABV was very well hidden. Smooth, sticky, soft mouthfeel with excellent carbonation. Another solid IPA from an amazingly consistent brewery.

16oz can, Tree House goblet glass. Slightly darker mango hue, one and half finger white head, effervescent, perfect frothiness and lots of lacing. Retention is great. Papaya, mango, mild sugar, a bit of grapefruit and a touch of resin. Medium bodied, soft, creamy, super drinkable but tons of flavor, fair bit of resinous spice also. After a while, all these Curiosity hops are getting to be very similar to each other- seems to me that it's a good thing since the general profile is still really delicious.

Curiosity 89 is a completely orange creamsicle explosion. You stick your nose in the glass, and it smells like an orange that fell off the tree and you picked it up after a few days. It has faint aromas of slightly rotted orange skin, passion fruit, vanilla beans and pineapple juice. It sounds gross, but it’s not. It’s awesome.

L - I don't hate the new dinosaur theme. Pours a glowing dark orange with pinkish fringes. Oily, squishy head that jiggles as I type.

S - smells fresh and ripe with stone fruit and banana. Pithy peach, mild onion, and lime. Saturating juicy fruit.

T - thick marshmallowy jam with flavors of orange, apricot, and pineapple puree. Fruit-forward candy sweetness, with just enough dry pith to keep you coming back for more. A bit grapey in the middle with chewy peach cream. Tangy toward the end, with a finish not unlike burning your mouth with hot coffee in terms of zesty numbness. Sticky and bitter at the bitter end.

F - full and fluffy. Very satisfying creaminess.

O - on the fluffier side of Tree House fare. Saturated and juicy, but more on the limey side of things, kinda like Other Half. Irresponsibly drinkable, a touch sweet, and overall nicely balanced.
