Forever Is A Very Long Time is an imperial milk stout brewed with extra and repeated doses of maple, chocolate, and coffee throughout every phase of the brewing process. It is the most decadent, flavor-saturated unbarreled stout we have ever made. The tasting notes are deeply complex across the temperature spectrum, but among many nuances you will find intense milk chocolate, chocolate coated maple nougat, and maple chocolate fudge notes offset by a chewy, indulgent body. Enjoy!

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery today.

A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a one finger mocha head that fades to leave light lacing and a thin creamy blanket.

S - Big aromas of maple syrup, maple creme, and maple candies. Subtle chocolate notes along with flashes of rich, roasted earthy coffee. Fluffy nougat throughout. No discernable alcohol.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with really big, but not cloy, maple elements. Slightly sticky maple but mostly just maple creme and candy. Good dense chocolate fudge and nice coffee. Finish is a bit hot and sharp.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little creamy, as it warms the alcohol pops a bit.

O - Overall this was a solid enough imperial milk stout. The maple is pleasant but never cloy. It does overpower the coffee though, especially on the taste. The alcohol is a bit too noticeable as well. Still, it's an enjoyable beer.
