The Curiosity series has been our template for hoppy beer exploration for almost seven years. It enables us to try new things and to experiment with hops in a way that's outside the box of the processes developed for our core line-up. This batch was brewed with a complex blend of Australian and American hops to further learn about the character of our new 2019 hop selections. Curiosity Ninety One pours a glowing orange color in the glass and presents with notes of ripe pineapple, papaya, guava, summer melon, and starfruit balanced by the familiar juicy fruit gum character of our house yeast. Like many recent Curiosity batches, Ninety One is pointedly soft and has a rich, velvet-like mouthfeel making it a genuine pleasure to drink! Enjoy!

16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of orange and tropical fruit. Tastes of orange and tropical fruit, too. Lightly sweet and a little chewy. Medium body. Straightforward juicy DIPA. It's good.

L - pours a murky, clouded yellow brown haze. Ain't that some turbidity.
S - strawberry kiwi fruit smoothie up front. Mango limeade and marshmallowy vanilla sweetness.
T - much spicier than the nose. Zesty graham cracker and doughy grapefruit peel. Lime, starfruit, and chalky hops. Warming, comforting ripe stonefruit flavors. Finishes rindy and peppery. Leaves that hoppy bitterness feeling deep in your gums.
F - heavy and saturated. There are certainly hops in here. Features a tingling acidity that peppers the tongue. Lively.
O - went a very different direction than the look and aroma would suggest. I expected something more fruity and juicy, but instead got something on the rindier, grapefruitier side of things. Surprising amount of alcohol heat. Warming all around. Nice sit-by-the-fire type of beer.

Another nice beer in the Curiosity series. Very guava- and papaya-forward. Nice juicy, cloudy orange color, with a light nectar-like mouthfeel. The smell wasn't anything incredibly enticing, but carried some of the same fruit aromas that were in the flavor. Overall, a bit of a sweeter rendition, with just a bit of hop bitterness at the end. Not my absolute favorite Tree House IPA, but very yummy overall.
Also, gotta give props for the Jurassic Park reference on the bottom: "Clever girl!"

Classic treehouse. Dense hazy orange.
1 finger head white
Smell is tropical and pretty generic.
Tate comes in a bit hot on. Th Boo profile. It’s not as muted and balanced. Maybe too fresh?
It has some pineapple and leach and malt. Reminds me of haze a bit.
Pretty good
