Following the milestone of Curiosity One Hundred, and celebrating a tremendous run of successful and delicious offerings, we are delighted to present Curiosity One Hundred Two today for your enjoyment!
Curiosity One Hundred Two finds us reinvigorated with our creative spirit and challenging and any all preconceived notions we hold about brewing. Back to basics, in a sense. To commemorate this, we have asked our artist friend Dean McKeever to approach his illustrations in a stripped down manner, similar to the original Curiosity cans, as we embark on the centennial season of Curiosity! With this approach, it’s amazing to see how much Dean has grown as an artist as even with simple pen and ink he creates something worthy of celebration!
The beer, like the artwork, strips away accumulated notions and starts fresh, and basic, by challenging our preconceived ideas of what works and what doesn’t with a renewed sense of purpose. Brewed with a new-to-us base malt, and paired with El Dorado and Citra hops, Curiosity 102’s taste is brimming with potential and originality. It conjures memories of Curiosity Twenty Seven - we taste ripe stone fruit, apricot, citrus pith, papaya, and guava. It’s just awesome - there’s not much else to say. It’s likely this beer will turn up again in some form down the road.
The path ahead is uncertain, but we are excited to be along for the ride!

Canned 9/4/20, tasted 11/6/20. I hope this turns into a regular TH offering! Very melon-forward with just a bit of citrus and bitter hop bite. Great appetizing aroma and very enjoyable mouthfeel. Rich and creamy so the flavors really stick around for a while after each sip. Preferred this to C103, although that was a tasty Curiosity as well. Yum!

Phenomenal thick beer. The smell is mango papaya and Some candy. This beer tastes like the best treehouse had to offer. It resembles treehouses famous Green IPA to me. Wonderful brew.

L - pours a thick, pinkish mango sludge. Creamy, viscous head with attractive lacing left behind.
S - bouquet of fruit flowers. Mango skin, clementine juice, peppery grapefruit rind, and even some grape. Vibrant and bouncy. Incredibly potent, this hits you wherever you are in the room.
T - sharp grapefruit bite up front that immediately mellows into warming peach, glowing with a strong, cohesive flavor front. Thick, hop-infused vanilla gives way to decadently ripe fruit flavors of mango, berry yogurt, and cantaloupe. Liquid hop syrup. Very smooth, very "fudgy" in feel. Mild tingles to finish with a lingering bitterness right on the tip of the tongue.
F - as alluded to, this is creamy and thick. Minimal carbonation with big, voluptuous curves. This beer is sexy.
O - this is one smooth criminal. Juicy, silky, and packed full of saturated hop-laden stone fruits. Not quite as peachy as I remember C27 being, but this one definitely has the same commanding presence.

Appearance: Opaque orange-yellow, huuuuge white dense fluff on top.
Aroma: Ripe peach and mango, hop galore.
Flavor: Incredible... peach, mango, ripe ripe fruits, grapefruit, liquid hop juice! Bursting with ripe fruit flavor and soft hops. Nothing is off balanced, everything is just right.
Palate/Finish: Super drinkable, medium-bodied and juicy-feeling, super duper smooth going down. Finishes with ripe mango and grapefruit.
Overall: One of my favorite Tree house beers yet. Love the bursting ripe fruit flavors on this one.
