Canned 9/29/20, tasted 11/14/20. The Curiosity series has been hit or miss for me lately. #99 was really unique and delicious but #100 wasn't great, #102 was terrific, and this one was just alright. The beer looked great, but the aroma wasn't all that interesting, and the taste had too much bitter citrus rind to it for my palate. In general the flavors just didn't come together as neatly as they do in most TH beers. The mouthfeel was really nice and rich, though.

TH “bubblegum” I know and love. Much better than 102. With some nice vegetal hoppy dankness

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 9/29/2020. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace as it slowly settles. 4.75
Smell is ripe melon, guava, pineapple, peach, and apricot really nice. 4.5
Taste kicks it up a notch for me cantaloupe, guava, peach, pineapple, and apricot really bold and very well balanced. 4.75
Mouthfeel is big, rather soft creamy carbonation, slightly sticky not dry, and at 7.9% ABV extremely approachable. 5
Overall another excellent one this series and from one of the best on earth. 4.75

16 oz can into a Teku glass.
Pours an opaque burnt orange color with a finger of off-white head. The head has little retention, but leaves some sticky cobwebs as it settles into a thin layer of foam. Great color.
The aroma is a bit muted. There's subtle notes of overripe mangoes and pineapple, with the foggiest idea of melon and apricot. Good, but hard to pick out specific notes. Definitely a tropical aroma.
The flavor though. Straight up hop candy. This is old school Tree House right here. Candied peach and pineapple, watermelon jolly ranchers, fresh mango and honeydew melon. Oh, and can't forget the bubblegum. The malt is hiding in the back somewhere, but it's there.
The body is on the fuller side of medium with soft carbonation. A little oily but creamy and smooth.
Overall, this is a great NEIPA, and a good Tree House beer. The nose is disappointing but the flavor is a sweet candy hop grenade.
