Brewed with a lovely blend of Mosaic, Nelson, and Citra, Ghost Emoji is a spooky Double IPA with a complex assortment of flavor featuring notes of overripe melon, grassy citrus, dank blueberries, and tropical fruit. We use Nelson and Mosaic with restraint here, allowing the fruity flavors and aromas to pop forward without the woody bitterness that comes through with over-hopping. And the can, designed by John Gilman, adds a festive glow in the dark effect. Have fun, and have a happy spooky season!

a: super hazy matte burnt orange color. large, 3 finger off-white frothy head. looks pretty solid, like you could rest a coin on it
s: orange, orange juice, pineapple, mango, tangerines, clementines. honey crackers and guava. apricots and caramelized strawberries
t: orange juice, mango nectar, pineapple, and guave. strawberry kiwi, peach juice and faint grapefuit. some nice melon notes, which is classic Tree House yeast profile. a touch of crackers on the backbone
m: full-medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation
o: above average beer, but slightly below what i'm used to from Tree House. it's really nice, but a bit mellow. that being said, this is exactly what i think a NEDIPA should be, even though it's not a beer style on BA :)

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange brown in color with one half inch head. Taste is big mango, guava, and starfruit. Heavy body, moderate low carbonation, slightly bitter. Nice dipa. Not sure if I need a four pack but good.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing. Body is opaque and pulpy.
Nose gives an initial impression of green herbal tones, along with notes of overripe tropical fruit, mild dankness, honey, and some sharp citrus.
On the palate, this beer is lush and bursting with tropical fruit juice notes: mango, melon, papaya, and pineapple. There's a slight bit of citrus - lemon and grapefruit - up front, but that quickly gives way to the wave of tropical juice. Mild but noticeable dankness, along with basil, honey, white grape, and chewy white dough. The malt base lends a moderate sweetness that amplifies the impression of fruit juice. Moderate bitterness.
Creamy and lively, full bodied mouthfeel. Classic Tree House.

16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of garlic and citrus. Earthy yeast. Tastes of orange, garlic, white grape, sweet pale malt. Medium heavy. Fairly sweet. Lingering garlic. Good.
