Thankful is a Tree House American IPA brewed with a blend of American hops.

Utilizing the process developed for Juice Project, Thankful is cold-hopped aggressively. Because the base beer carries little bitterness, what translates is all of the wonderful and juicy hop character with almost no bitterness.
Thankful pours like orange juice in the glass and puts forth flavors and aromas of orange cream, tropical fruit salad, and fresh peach juice.
Thankful asks us to consider what is good in our lives during a difficult year. We hope you are able to enjoy it with joy in your heart.

Can from Jeff, thanks again
Lightly hazy orange gold in color with a good sized frothy white head.
Bready toasty maltiness with a hint of butterscotch. Light earthy grassy citrus hops. Not a huge fan of this one .

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Tree House Willi Becher glass; canned 11/16/20, code ENJOY THIS WITH LOVED ONES.
A: Pours a hazy, light amber with a one to one and half finger, off-white head, rim retention and sticky rings of lacing.
S: Aromas of tangerine > orange, apricot, caramel and pine predominate.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Palate largely follows the nose with the caramel malt backbone much more evident. Refreshing, but not overstated bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with a light effervescence. Refreshing without being overly watery.
O: This is a very easy drinking American IPA from Tree House. Very, very drinkable and, dare I say, more refreshing than many of the "hop bombs."

16oz can dated 11/16/20.

Pours hazy yellow with a moderate head, retention, and lacing. Peach and pineapple in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy citrus on the palate with peach, pear, mango, and pineapple. Finishes fairly dry with minimal bitterness or malt and lingering juicy tropicals.

Consumed 1/6/21

Golden orange, hazy and turbid, pours with a small white head, fades to a few wisps and a collar
Tangerine and orange juice, touch of ruby red grapefruit, lightly green and herbal hops but mostly just juice, peach, apricot, tropical fruit flavors, fruit punch, white grapes, very low bitterness, pale malts, pale grains, lingering light sweetness
Medium body, smooth, carbonation on the low side

Thankful, along with Wishful, is making me worry that I might be too old and cantankerous to enjoy some of the newest IPAs on the market. Yes, the intensity of the fruit is impressive here. But it's so fruity that I miss malt, I miss leafy hops, and I miss bitterness. That's it, at the age of 34 I'm just going to start sitting on my front steps with cooler of PBR and start yelling at kids to get off my lawn.

A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap

S: Tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit up front along with a touch of berries

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with creamy citrus, tropical fruit, and stone fruit (more specifically peach). Picks up some berry notes and more citrus. Finishes with lingering citrus

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A very good juicy IPA that has very little bitterness. Super easy to drink. Definitely worth checking out

I quite like the appearance of this TH NEIPA - deep hazy burnt orange look. Poured with a large frothy head into a teku IPA glass. I was a little too cold upon the pour and didn't seem to have the complexity of other TH offerings but I waited...and it really didn't offer up the traditional punch from a Treehouse variety. Not much going on the aroma - maybe a whiff of stone fruit and some slight citrus. Claiming to be cold hopped (not sure what that means) to cut down on the bitterness and bring the hops forward, I don't get that in the palate. True it does not have bitterness and it is a hop forward ale but it sorely lacks complexity. There is a bit of creamsicle and hints of peach but that about it. It finishes nicely with almost no bitterness. nice an clean mothfeel. All that said, this is breweries tribute to the painful realities of 2020 and I for one AM Thankful for all the incredible work this place does to keep us consumers in quality beer.
