The Universe Is Indifferent is an Imperial Milk Stout brewed with lactose, chocolate, and coffee. It tastes like melted chocolate, chocolate syrup, and sweet milk chocolate bars. Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. Decadent doesn’t even begin to describe this delicious concoction. It will be absolutely beautiful for a holiday evening spent relishing the things we have to be grateful for.

Brew: Tree House Brewing Company - The Universe Is Indifferent
Intro: 500 mil. poured into a tulip glass. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Pitch black, Moderate head maybe 1.5 inches. Moderate lacing as I drank
Smell: Mainly chocolate, slight vanilla, very light coffee.
Taste: Followed the smell.
Mouthfeel: Creamy medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
Drink: Very smooth and creamy, almost like drinking chocolate milk with a little alcohol.
Conclusion: Treehouse has the milk stouts downpat. I never hesitate at grabbing one. This particular label was a little down the ranks but still enjoyable

I guess I'm having some chocolate with this one
Pours a med frothy thick brown 1 finger head with good retention, great lacing and long legs, pitch black color
Nose is actually a bit smokey, with roast, chocolate, cocoa, some coffee, lots of fudge and burnt milk chocolate, malted milk ball, wafer cookie dough creme brulee chocolate puding like, burnt lactose
Taste brings lots more chocolate, layers of it, milk chocolate up front, burnt lactose and creamy milk chocolate with a bit of ganache, a little fudge and rich Godiva chocolate like, a bit of chocolate marshmallow and some malted milk ball cookie wafer chocolate, hint of spices in the background, some roasted malt and mild over roasted coffee, some bitterness from the stout roasted malts
Mouth is fuller bod but rich, somewhere between heavy velvety stout and actual Godiva chocolate melting in my mouth, med to lighter fizzy carb but OK, very light alcohol warmth
Overall yes this delivered loads of chocolate, there is some stout still in there, and thankfully not overly sweet, so it's still good, but not something I would drink again probably

Pours opaque, jet black in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is milk chocolate, chocolate truffle, cookie dough, and vanilla. Medium heavy bodied, sweet, low carbonation. Makes for a solid sweet stout. Delicious but I am unsure if I could pick this out of a lineup of Tree House sweet stouts.
