Featuring copious doses of chocolate and pecans and a touch of coffee, Festive pours thickly in the glass and gives off flavors and aromas of chocolate-covered pecans, milk chocolate, and dark caramel pralines.
The artwork, by our friend John Gilman, so beautifully captures the spirit of warmth and family that comes with the season of giving.
We hope it can contribute positively to your celebrations this winter - Enjoy!

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a muffin top pint glass; canned 12/08/20, code YOU BETTER GET FESTIVE.
A: Pours an essentially black with a one finger, light brown head, rim retention, and spotty lacing.
S: Aromas of chocolate, black coffee, macadamia, Southern Comfort, vanilla, and molasses predominate.
T: Sweet and boozy. Flavors follow the nose with a lot of chocolate and booziness. Bitterness solidly present but in the background.
F: Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Alcohol evident on the palate.
O: This is a great, dare I say, festive sipping stout, perfect sitting by the fireplace with a good book. Will miss these winter wonders, but, like Frosty, they'll "be back again someday."

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, pecans, caramel, and toffee
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, and caramel. Picks up the pecans, coffee, some booze, and toffee. Dark fruit pokes through a bit with some anise. Finishes with lingering roast and dark chocolate
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid milk stout with plenty going on. Everything combines nicely and makes for a great sipper. Definitely worth checking out during the holiday season

L - thick, sludgy motor oil with a creamy dark tan head. Leaves an almost reddish hue around the edges of the glass.
S - festive fudge up front. Dark chocolate goodness with a splash of sprinkled spices. Cinnamon and allspice followed by milk chocolate and brown sugar.
T - raw, dark chocolate and acidic coffee grounds. Nutty, like almonds and roasted walnuts. There's a dark, roasty, burnt flavor that really adds a peppery spiciness. Very much cacao-forward. For some reason, it's leaving my lips tingly... maybe a touch of chili? Weird, but warms the soul.
F - silky smooth with subtle creaminess. At first, it doesn't appear as full as 10.4% might suggest, but when that silk flows in, this gets marshmallowy quick.
O - upping the ante from last year's four Christmas stouts, I see! Pretty rare we get TH milk stouts up this high and we're getting quite a bit more roasty bite as a result. Makes for some nice balance with the lactose and will likely appeal to some of the milk stout haters out there.

Poured from a 16 oz can
Look: Dark, rich beer with a finger of head
Smell: Roasty, chocolatey smell with a hint of nuts
Taste: Much like the nose with some caramel notes
Feel: Rich and creamy
Overall: A very decadent stout. I really like this even though I don't get much from the pecans.
