This wonderful set of beers celebrates the holiday season with joy in our hearts and with hope for the future.
The artwork, by our friend John Gilman, so beautifully captures the spirit of warmth and family that comes with the season of giving.
Featuring copious doses of chocolate and hazelnut and a touch of coffee, Tradition pours thickly in the glass andgives off flavors and aromas of chocolate-covered hazelnuts, milk chocolate, and dark caramel.
We hope it can contribute positively to your celebrations this winter - Enjoy!

L - like the others, it pours a dark black oil color with a reddish tan head. Seems darker than the others.
S - deeply nutty. Peanut butter, cashew butter, and black coffee. Baker's chocolate, decadent fudge, and peanut brittle.
T - dark chocolate peanut butter. HIts heavy and hard with an acrid coffee ground tanginess. Like it says on the tin, hazelnuts abound, slathered in molasses and burnt caramel sauce. Unsweetened cocoa that finishes with bitterness that borders on tartness. Touch of boozey rum heat on the very end. Maybe some blueberries hidden in there?
F - thick with low carbonation. Gives off tingly vibes. Not overly saturating, but definitely viscous.
O - getting some HOTS vibes with all this PB and hazelnut. Does a good job of eschewing sweetness in favor of the bolder, bitter flavors you'd find in anything with the prefix "dark".

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a muffin top pint glass; canned 12/10/20, code "AS IS TRADITON [sic]."
A: Pours an essentially black with a two to three finger, medium brown head, prolonged retention, and spotty lacing.
S: Aromas of dark chocolate, hazelnut, mocha, caramel, and molasses predominate.
T: Sweet and boozy. Flavors follow the nose with a lot of chocolate, hazelnut, and Bourbon. Bitterness solidly present but in the background.
F: Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy with alcohol minimally evident on the palate.
O: Like Festive, perfect for sitting by the fireplace with a good book. Will miss these winter wonders and hope they become a tradition.

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, dark chocolate, hazelnut, cocoa, caramel, and a touch of toffee
T: Starts off with a mix of roasted malt, hazelnut, and cocoa. Picks up the caramel, dark chocolate, and toffee. Quite nutty and chocolatey. Finishes with lingering cocoa and hazelnut
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth
O: A great milk stout that is a near perfect dessert beer. Very nutty with just enough cocoa where it isn’t too sweet. Definitely worth checking out
