Sweet Ride Raspberry + Vanilla is a confectionary milk stout brewed with freeze-dried raspberries + enormous Mexican vanilla. It pours syrup-like in the glass and puts forth flavors and aromas of chocolate-raspberry torte, black raspberry ice cream, raspberry vanilla layer cake, and chocolate-covered raspberries. It is ridiculously delicious.

Decanted from a 22 oz (651 ml) bottle into a Tradewinds Willi Becher glass; no production information.
A: Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a thin, brown head, rim retention, but no lacing.
S: Aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla, and berries predominate.
T: Sweet. Complex. Dark chocolate, vanilla, cherry/strawberry syrup, ?tobacco. Perhaps some espresso, but not as much as the chocolate. Bitterness solid and present throughout, offsetting the sugar sweetness and (presumed additives).
M: Full bodied with low effervescence. Creamy, rich, and drinks well.
O: I am a stout enthusiast, but milk stouts are not typically my favorites. That said, this is a superb stout, additives and all. Reminds me of the richness of a dark chocolate, Devil's Food cake with raspberry filling. Definitely dessert and not for the main course. Yum!

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like chocolate covered raspberries, creamy sweet coffee, ice cream, and milk chocolate.

This is definitely (and obviously, given the name) very sweet, but it's got a pleasant decadence to it. There's a real ice cream and coffee type vibe to this, with a nice sweet creaminess to it.

This is medium bodied, with no booziness, and a silky luxurious feel.

This is definitely sweet, so it's better in small amounts, but with the right pour, this is definitely delicious.

Sampling a cold 16.9 oz bottle picked up at the brewery several weeks ago by a friend of mine. Pouring into my snifter.
the beer pours black coffee color with no light penetrating, Even after a slightly aggressive pour I get only minimal creamy tan head. this sticks around as a dense edge layer and some islands on the surface. Two circular islands that spin off of each other from rising carbonation beneath the surface, kind of cool.
The nose is rich and fairly complex with dark chocolate and fudge, some roasted notes and espresso bean , and mild raspberry in the background. no booze hints nor any hops sweet and malty through and through.
First sip reveals a soft creamy dense body with soft and gentle carbonation. The mouthfeel is sticky and creamy and the beer coats my palate with a sticky coating with each swallow. Leaves a sweet flavor on my lips.
Flavor is similar to the aroma with sweet chocolate and fudge mixing with some roasted notes and finishing with some sweet and tart raspberry notes. I dont get much coffee or vanilla on the flavor and the hops and booze are absent throughout.
A bit of a sipper due to texture, but pretty much what is to be expected from a TH stout. big flavor soft texture and generally sweet beer. glad to have tried this one.

Pours thick rich heavy dark inky black beer with med foamy brown head, med retention, good lacing, long legs and stains the glass

Nose is very rich, loads of vanilla, vanilla ice cream, some chocolate fudge, light raspberry syrup, rich coffee and espresso, Kahlua like, plenty of cocoa, creamy lactose and coffee milk, a bit of fudge, almost Neapolitan ice cream notes

Taste is also super rich, bright raspberry up front with the layers of chocolate and vanilla, again a bit of a Neapolitan ice cream mixed with raspberry black forest cake, thick fudge, chocolate ganache, cocoa, a bit of baking spices, layers of vanilla as well, mild espresso a bit of kahlua infused lady fingers ala Tiramisu, cocoa powder, smooth alcohol, a touch of bitterness and coffee roast, sticky sweet finish, a little candy like

Mouth is super rich thick chewy velvety, med frothy carb, very little alcohol warmth but smooth

Overall quite nice, like raspberry black forest cake mixed with tiramisu, Neapolitan ice cream, and cocoa dust with vanilla frosting, nice heavy stout as typical of Tree House

Pours dark black. Aroma is decent combination of roadty malts, vanilla and a hint if raspberry. Taste is a bit thin combo of the aroma with some chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium/full.
Good stout.

Picked-up a single bottle at Tree House Brewery in Charlton a few weeks ago for twelve dollars, drank last night. My one hundred and fifty first brew from these guys. This was fine, but probably my least favorite in the series.

A: Pours a pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that quickly fades down to a thin cap

S: Roasted malt, milk chocolate, raspberries, vanilla, espresso, caramel, and a touch of dark chocolate

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of roasted malt, raspberries, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Caramel also comes through along with some of the espresso and milk chocolate. Quite sweet. Finishes with lingering raspberry, vanilla, and dark chocolate

M: Full bodied with low carbonation

O: A great dessert beer that combines the espresso, raspberries, and vanilla very well. Chocolate also plays a major role, in both the dark and milk variants. Definitely a sipper with both the abv and viscosity. Worth checking out if you’re a fan of raspberry stouts
