Lucky is a mixed fermentation ale brewed with honey and raw wheat and fermented with our house native culture. Following a several-year slumber in french oak, and then a nearly one-year bottle conditioning period, Lucky emerges with stunning elegance and grace only possible with careful stewardship and patience. We taste and smell lemon yogurt, honeycomb, subtle funk, and gentle acidity. Enjoy!

A: Pours a golden orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Light acidic funk, honey, oak, light fruit, and floral notes
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of acidic funk, oak, vanilla, light fruits (mostly apple and pear), citrus, and some floral notes. Picks up some earthy undertones, honey, and wheat. Finishes with lingering funk and fruit
M: Medium bodied with low but firm carbonation
O: This one is a real (surprising) treat. Not super sour but nice and funky with the typical acidity you’d associate with a mixed fermentation. Very firm with that honey base. Definitely worth checking out
