Sweet Ride Cookies & Cream Banana Cream Sundae is not only a mouthful of words but a mouthful of deliciousness. Brewed with chocolate wafer cookies, vanilla, dehydrated bananas, and fresh banana puree during every step of the brewing process, this batch of Sweet Ride is a ridiculously delicious confectionery treat that tastes even better than it sounds. To us, it literally tastes like melted cookies and cream banana sundae and has the power to instantly transport your mind to a scoop shop. It is not subtle. Pour a glass, relax, and drift into Sweet Ride bliss.

Pours inky black, thick and syrupy, no head, nice legs, pitch black color
Nose starts with chocolate and banana, some oreo cookie, a bit of a holiday spice almost eggnog like, vanilla icing, banana cream, chocolate icing on gingerbread cookie, cookies and cream ice cream
Taste very sweet, lots of sugar, turbinado sugar like, vanilla cream, cookies and cream ice cream, oreo cookie, some banana cream, vanilla and chocolate icing on sugar cookie, a bit more of the holiday spices again, chocolate cream pie, a bit of bitter roast, fair alcohol in the middle, sticky sweet finish
Mouth is full bod, a bit syrupy and thick like eggnog, lighter carb, fair alcohol warmth and a little tingle
Overall this was actually a bit of a mess, really surprising for a Tree House stout, way too sweet, too much candy like, very little base beer, even a bit artificial, not their best

This is one of the few new beers that I picked up at Tree House when I went about a week ago. This one sounds really weird, but I was really excited to try it given their track record with milk stouts. I can't say I've ever had a banana stout, but I do enjoy eating banana wafers while drinking stouts, so I guess this is kinda close since it's brewed with chocolate wafers and bananas?? Let's see if it has the same vibe
Pours completely pitch black with 2 fingers of dark mocha head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves nice lacing
The balance struck in the nose on this one is really nice, the bananas are present but don't overwhelm the roast and dark malt. I'm picking up on aromas of dried banana, chocolate syrup, light roast coffee, nutty toffee, light raisin, and a hint of cinnamon
It's still balanced in taste, but not quite as much and it's just not as impactful though still good. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting overrippe banana, roasty coffee, milk chocolate, and light raisin. The swallow brings notes of dried banana, sweet vanilla, chewy toffee, and chocolate syrup
A full body pairs with very gentle carbonation, resulting in a creamy and decadent beer, feeling very much like a banana sundae itself. Finishes surprisingly dry-ish for all the sweetness going on, maybe a product of using dehydrated bananas
Once again, Tree House has made something huge and delicious. I hope they brew this one more often, and I think I'll have to check out more of the Sweet Ride series now, despite the overly sweet raspberry espresso variant I had

Pours dark black and viscous like oil. Aroma is complex combo of sweetness of banana, chocolate cookies and vanilla. Tastes just like it smells -- sweet perfection. Full bodied.

A: Pours a pitch black color with a tiny head that manages to stick around for quite a while
S: Explodes with chocolate cookies and banana. Some vanilla in there as well, but very chocolate banana forward
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a wave of milk chocolate and banana, followed by some vanilla and alcohol. Finishes with lingering chocolate and banana
M: Full bodied with low carbonation. Very thick
O: A great dessert stout that nails both the cookies & cream aspect and the banana cream aspect. Definitely on the sweet side, but not super cloying. Hides the alcohol well. Worth checking out

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one inch head. Taste is banana, cocoa, roasted malt, vanilla and a touch of alcohol burn. I want some cookies. Sweet but not cloying, heavy body, with low carbonation. Very good dessert beer. Probably my second favorite in the series. I really like the banana addition. Reminds me of what they used to do with drafts. I would get this again.

Jet black pour. Smell is somewhat vegetal. Off putting. Not much in the way of banana. Taste is just off. Got better as it warmed, but not much. Similar to the smell, but with chocolate. Thick mouthfeel. Very nice. Overall, not my jam
