Reaching deep into the beer cellar and I pull out…chocolate fudge cake
Brewers Notes: Chocolate Fudge Cake is an imperial milk stout brewed with chocolate, cocoa powder, and vanilla beans. It is intended to emulate the delicious flavor profile of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, and boy does it ever. Enjoy it with someone you love.
Black motor oil poured into a Tree House snifter , pencil thick creamy brown layer quickly fades to a ring,
Aroma is cocoa powder, milk chocolate
Taste is sweet, Hershey syrup milk chocolate, fudge brownie, vanilla frosting ,
Sweetness lingers, more sweet than stout, it is a sweet sweet beer
Good beer but i need a shot of insulin as a chaser

Head was dark tan. Aroma was straight cocoa powder. Very sweet flavor. The advice to share with someone was a good idea that I did not heed. Hershey's syrup, duncan hines brownie, lots of chocolate and not a whole lot of beer. Still tasty to me but I would not reviist.

Pours a rich thick frothy 1/2 finger brown head with med retention, fair sticky lacing, decent legs, jet black color
Nose is quite sweet, loads of sweet moist chocolate fudge cake, lots of sweet caramel, caramel cream, toffee, sweet vanilla cream frosting, fudge, cocoa, big sweet cream frosting all around, touch of coffee, but not much actual stout.
Taste is also quite sweet, lots of chocolate and vanilla cream frosty, as well as loads of caramel, caramel candies and creams, toffee, into chocolate fudge, vanilla icing, thick moist chocolate cake, thick cocoa, into roasted coffee, espresso into mocha, a bit of bitterness, sticky sweet finish, a touch of alcohol warmth late
Mouth is full bod, rich chewy creamy thick, med frothy carb, light warming alcohol
Overall I'm not a fan of this one, too sweet and candy like, and there's basically no stout left in there, it's just a liquid candybar or blended fudge cake, sorry TH, not your best work.

Pouts dark black. Aroma is simply chocolate sweetness. Taste is much more complex- rich chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee and roasted malt. Smooth, thicj full bodied stout. Outstanding stout.

L - oh gee, I wonder what this one tastes like. A bit on the nose, isn't it? Pour is straight motor oil with some serious viscosity. Minimal head because I just can't pour it hard enough! A color like deep space... if space was brown. This may be the thickest-looking TH stout yet.
S - Hershey milk chocolate up front, then dry acidity drifts in to finish with a cocoa powder bite. Chocolate-covered coffee beans and light nuttiness.
T - warming, tangy, acrid fudge. Real raw and permeating. You know, like it's liquid fudge. Nobody could have seen this coming. A splash of coconut, a la Almond Joy. Milk chocolate dances on the tongue early on, then quickly drops to a bittersweet dark chocolate torte. Finishes strong with lingering blueberry tartness.
F - not as thick as it looks, but the carbonation is incredibly compacted, bordering on nitro to give it a densely smooth creaminess.
O - yeah, I'd say "chocolate fudge cake" just about describes it.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with minimal head. Taste is chocolate fudge and vanilla. Heavy body, sweet, with low carbonation. Unsure if I could pick this out of a line up of their milk stouts, but it makes for a nice dessert beer.

A: Pours a pitch black color with a small head that fades down to a tiny cap
S: Rich chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, light coffee, and some dark chocolate on top of the cocoa
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the rich cocoa and chocolate followed by some vanilla, caramel, roasted malt, and coffee. Alcohol hardly noticed. Finishes with lingering chocolate and vanilla
M: Full bodied with low carbonation. Thick and smooth
O: A great dessert stout that is just like liquid chocolate cake. Makes for a great sipper because of the abv and sweetness. Worth checking out
