Tree House Brewing
Date: 25 June 2021
I have two more Tree House beers in the fridge this one and a coffee stout. This beer is 44 degrees and served in a nonic. The pour created a frothy and creamy white head with excellent retention. The slow dissipation left lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 4, pale straw with light golden hues. This beer is hazy; I was not expecting that. The beer reminds me of a NEIPA.
The aromas in the beer are oranges, floral, herbal, crackers, lightly toasted malts, grapefruit, and pine resin.
I taste floral esters, phenols, earthiness, toasted crackers, malty sweetness, grapefruit, orange peel, pine resins, and a hint of pharmaceutical.
The mouthfeel is astringent and dry.
The body of the beer is medium, has medium carbonation, and has a somewhat lasting finish.
A well-made pale ale. The hop profile is not abrasive and the malt backbone is firm.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about fourteen dollars. My one hundred and fifty ninth brew from these guys. This is a solid LAB from TH, not one of their best, but good.
