The beer in this bottle was conditioned upon a mountain of powdered peanut butter and a careful dose of house roasted coffee. The result is an incredibly decadent treat that tastes like a melted chocolate peanut butter cup. The mouthfeel, body, and velvety carbonation are hallmark attributes to this beautiful beverage - enjoy!

Very thick - almost like motor oil. I didn't love the taste. Some peanut butter. Lots of chocholate and coffee in terms of the overall taste of this beer.

Thick motor oil in a glass. Nose is fresh ground peanut butter, dark chocolate cake, and a shot of espresso. Taste is almost identical. Roasty, peanut butter, and chocolate ice cream. Can't t really find the banana. Slick and thick mouthfeel.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big milk chocolate, cocoa, white sugar slurry and faint peanut butter. Heavy body, sweet, slightly roasty with low carbonation. I want more peanut butter. Better than Vanilla nowhere near as good as coconut.

500 ml bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a near pitch black color with a half-finger of creamy tan head. Modest retention. Leaves a bit of cobweb lacing as it settles into a thin ring.
Strong aromas of chocolate fudge, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate ice cream drizzled in chocolate syrup, light roasted coffee and the faintest idea of roasted peanuts.
The flavor starts off with a wave of chocolate. Chocolate fudge, chocolate syrup, chocolate blah blah blah. Then comes a modest wave of peanut butter with a mild bitter coffee finish.
The feel is full bodied with low carbonation. Syrupy and sticky with some warming from the alcohol.
Overall, this is a very good imperial stout overall. If you really like chocolate, then you'll really like this stout, or any Tree House stout, honestly. The peanut butter is just a bit too subtle, unfortunately. It's in the bed of a truck being driven at 150 mph by chocolate, with more chocolate in the passenger seat.
