Curiosity 116 is brewed to explore the character of an exotic blend of hops, unlike anything we have done to date. Featuring Motueka, Huell Melon, Nelson Sauvin, and Galaxy, it pours a straw yellow color in the glass and tastes like sweet lime, grassy citrus, white wine, yubari melon, and zesty lemon. Wow! Drink this one cold, straight from the can. Or however you'd like...but boy is it delicious right from the can. Enjoy!

Golden yellow, very hazy, pours with a medium sized white head, fades to a small collar and leaves some lacing
Citrus rind, grapefruit pith, floral citrus, herbal notes, grass, green and slightly earthy hops, white wine, melon, cantaloupe, more lingering citrus, low bitterness, neutral malts, hint of alcohol
Medium body, smooth, medium carbonation, finish could be cleaner
The "Curiosity" beers are often strange, as is the intention of the series, and 116 might be one of the strangest. It certainly does not fit the "fruit smoothie" or "fruit cup in a blender" categories that some Tree House beers dominate. It's almost like a weird mixed drink or a white wine spritzer. I was not fan of it at first, but it grew on me.
