Authentic ingredients. Individual character. An integrated and delicious outcome. A draft favorite. Coco is Julius conditioned atop a heavy dose of toasted coconut. The resulting beer carries waves of orange notes encircled by prevalent but balanced coconut character. We taste coconut creamsicle, sweet orange cocktail, and citrusy hops atop a classic Tree House mouthfeel. This beer works incredibly well on its own but also contributes mightily to novel cocktails.

On tap at Tree House Brewing in Saratoga, NY.
This one pours a hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells, well, like coconut, with orange, tangerine, and vanilla.
This is extremely creamy, but there’s a slight tinge of hop burn right at the end that’s semi unpleasant. It’s real decadent though, with lots of coconut, and some pineapple and orange for sure.
This is quite creamy and pretty drinkable, despite a little bit of hop burn.
This is a little bit silly, but tasty enough.

The base julius in this tastes like the best julius I've ever had.... always feel like I'm getting not the best julius batch otherwise.
The coconut is apparent at first but shows up as it warms. It's a bit of an odd flavor combination...the coconut onto of the peach flavors from julius, but it works well to provide a unique flavor profile, which I appreciatesince NEIPAs can taste too samey sometimes.

Interesting blend of strong coconut and citrus notes on the nose. Very potent, very juicy, and very pleasant, although it took me a few sniffs to warm to the concept.
Coconut isn't quite as prominent on the palate, but you're certainly not going to have to hunt for it, either. I can't say that it improves on OG Julius, which shouldn't be a surprise, as that beer is a legend for a reason. It is quite pleasant, however.

16oz can at share. Hazy yellow golden pour, foamy persistent head. Tropical, ineapple, coconut aroma. Taste is fruity, citrus, coconut, tropical, sharp hoppy bitterness. Pillowy soft and full.

16oz. can into a Founders snifter.
Muddy. But at least there's a nice head and great lace. Nose is soft citrus, cane sugar, mango, and a touch of sweet cream. Pungent and aromatic. More bright and juicy than dank. Beer opens citrus, sweet cream, and mango up front. Some starfruit in the middle with a citrus peel astringency towards the back. I get almost no coconut. A light touch of toast throughout though. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly, lively and dry on the palate and goes down sticky and bone dry. Lingering aftertaste.
I just don't get much coconut here. As a Julius variant with a twist, this isn't bad but it doesn't stand out either.
