Tangerine Guava Tart is a tart, wheat-based ale conditioned upon heaps of tangerine and guava puree. The resulting beer is a tropical oasis with a gorgeous orange hue. We taste note of overripe tangerine, guava chews, puckering citrus, and soft doughy wheat. The combination of its elements is greater than the sum of its parts. Crisp, zippy, and perfectly balanced, Tangerine Guava Tart is a crusher!

From a 16oz can dated “Winter 2023.” Clear as a bell, certainly tart and refreshing. A lovely tart wheat ale.

Canned 7/30/21. “Crush the beer, crush the can, then recycle” stamped on the bottom. Though I suppose the type of person that doesn’t recycle is not exactly going to to care about that, it’s a nice gesture
It’s been a while since I’ve had anything sour from Tree House, the last (and only) one being the Guava Peach Tart. I thought that beer was quite nice, if not a bit understated. Tangerine and guava seems like an interesting fruit blend for a beer, so let’s see how it works out
Pours a mostly clear gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing at all
There’s definitely a candied feel in the aroma on this one, tart and sweet at the same time. I’m picking up on aromas of sour tangerine candy, wheat bread, white pepper, funky guava, white peach, and light herbal hops
In taste, it retains some of its candy like characters, but incorporates more general earthiness. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting very tart tangerine, guava, lemon lime soda, and crackery malt. The swallow sweetens up a bit, bringing notes of juicy white peach, herbal hops, orange juice, lightly tart guava, and wheat bread
A light medium body pairs with gentle scrubbing carbonation, resulting in a very crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with with a very light earthy tartness
It’s certainly nothing special, but it’s still solid stuff. The guava peach was better for sure, but I wouldn’t turn this down
