This is a special rendition of Quadruple Shot derives all of its coffee character from House-roasted, House-extracted cold brew concentrate, and liquid cacao. This beer genuinely pursues the boundaries of reason with coffee character and chocolate character in a stout, yet retains perfect balance and flavor saturation. Pushing the boundaries has resulted in a singular beverage that helps us perfect our regular offerings. Put simply, this is a liquid cocoa and coffee explosion unlike anything else.

Slate brownish black with a frothy brown head. Big coffee, earth, and dark chocolate, with light toasted caramel, metal and coffee grounds in the nose, the metal has me worried. Huge chocolate and coffee bomb in the taste, thankfully the metal is nowhere to be found, hints of vanilla, toasted caramel and earth are in the background, not the most balanced but bold in pushing the palate. Feel is the best aspect of this one: smooth, frothy, large yet not overly heavy, coffee percolation is a great contrast to the lush maltwork, rich.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours midnight black with almost no head. Nose is coffee, roasted malts, black licorice, and more coffee. Dark chocolate and some tree bark come through. Smells...robust!
Taste: Super smooth. Definitely roasty. Sweet chocolate, dark cherries, blackberries, figs, leather, freshly roasted coffee beans, and some vanilla. I get a solid nutty flavor that wasn't on the nose. Walnuts and almonds. As it warms, it becomes less bitter and more sweet. Toffee notes start to appear. I also start to get black licorice candy, oranges, and a touch of maple. Oh boy, this is amazing! I will say that I love the taste more than I would have thought from the nose.
Mouthfeel and overall: Thick and creamy! Overall, this is phenomenal. Such a great beer!

12oz. capped bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Pours super dense. No head. Rich, super thick legs. Nose is coffee, lactose, chocolate, and sweet cream. Very aromatic. Almost smells like fresh milk! Beer opens sweet milk chocolate, iced coffee, and syrup. Lactose in the middle with layers and layers of vanilla and sweet cream. More chocolate, syrup. and vanilla at the finish with a sweet chocolate syrup in the aftertaste. Body is full with low carbonation. Rich on the palate and goes down smooth and silky soft. Warm aftertaste that lingers.
A bit too sweet here. A lot of lactose and sweet cream and the cold brew and cacao notes don't really come through. A bit disappointing.

Small head production, and it's quickly gone. You can see some slight, fine particulate around the edges and atop the body; if you swirl or tilt the glass, they are left behind. Still, nothing unattractive; an OK-looking stout.
Sharp, rich, almost metallic on the nose, leaving a strong impression of cold coffee, along with notes of molasses, chocolate, caramel, toffee, pecan.
Smooth, thick, rich, chewy; wow, this is thick! Despite the high ABV, it sips pretty easily, allowing you to sip, chew, and savor at your leisure. Relatively long and sticky finish, despite some boozy effervescence.
Flavor follows the nose: thick molasses and chocolate notes, laced throughout with coffee. Vanilla, pecan, toffee, red grape, and date round out the profile. It's definitely on the sweeter side of the stout family, more of a coffee dessert stout than a breakfast stout.
