JammyJammy
Notes: Jammy is a rendition of Julius featuring water, malt, hops, yeast, and...dried apricot!

Following trials from several different vendors, we settled on a high quality apricot that imparts flavors of ripe apricot, stone fruit, and punchy citrus to our original flagship IPA.

Simple in construct but immensely juicy in outcome, Jammy is a beer we are certain you will enjoy.

Keep it icy cold and enjoy it as FRESH as possible!

Picked-up two cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about twelve dollars. My two hundred and sixty seventh brew from these guys. Too much going on here for me, like a Beera Coolada.

Pours a hazy medium orange color, looks like orange juice. Appropriate foamy head. Nice citrusy aroma, apricot appears as it warms up. Flavor is citrusy, great orange flavor, very nice apricot flavor throughout. Carbonation adds a creamy texture. Overall a delicious Julius variant.

Canned 11/20/21. "That's my jam!" stamped on the bottom of the can

Back with some more Tree House, but this is the only new one this time around. The rest are old favorites to get me through the holidays and some for trade. So, Julius conditioned on apricot? That should be interesting. Hopefully it takes on the slightly earthy tartness apricot provides but we shall see

Pours a hazy dark gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing

I mean, is there really a better way to describe the aroma other than "jammy"? It's a perfect encapsulation of dehydrated apricots and OG Julius. I'm picking up on aromas of jammy apricot, peach gummy, orange juice, grassy hops, light grapefruit, and a rounded bready malt

The apricot in flavors sneaks in mostly on the swallow, though it is present up front in a lighter way. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting peach gummy, orange juice, tangerine, bready malt, resiny hops, and light apricot. The swallow brings notes of jammy apricot, peach ice cream, pithy grapefruit, resiny hops, orange rind, and bready malt

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a super juicy beer. Finishes mostly dry with a lingering bitterness. Might be more refreshing than Julius

Another winner from Tree House, and definitely better than the other Julius variants they've been putting out lately. Now if only King Julius got the apricot treatment...

Had on tap. Pours orange gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is Julius, big mango, orange juice with a touch of apricot on the finish. Slightly bitter, moderate carbonation, heavy body. The apricot does not jump out as much here as in other variations of Julius, until it warms but still quite good. Can really taste the base beer. Well worth seeking out.

Really gorgeous looking in a teku glass. Deep orange looking thick and jammy (wink) and looks like a ripe apricot (wink). The base of this brew is Julius, an utter classic but the resemblance to Julius in both nose and taste is rather faint. There is some juiciness in the aroma and clearly that fruitiness is of the stone variety. Can I say conclusively that it's apricot? Not necessarily but it definitely favors peach & plum rather than the typical tropical or citrus vapors. The flavor profile is decidedly drier than Julius too. The apricot is more evident in the taste along with some malty earthiness and a hint of orange. Finishes nicely, clean on the palate. BTW I was allowed to buy ONE can! I like to have at least two before a review.
