Following primary fermentation, this carefully managed batch of Trail received a judicious dose of personally selected Simcoe hops. This treatment elevates the flavor profile, presenting with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and pine atop a zippy and completely crushable base beer. Refined and dutifully executed, Trail Simcoe is certain to quench your thirst!

Poured from a 12oz can stamped simply WINTER 2023 to a Pilz glass at fridge temperature.
The gold body is slightly hazy but translucent. A healthy, puffy pure white head sits on top. Some nucleated bubbles rise, but not generously. Lacing is medium.
The aroma is hoppy, but there is a hint of onion.
The taste is hoppy and clean with that mild onion note not found at all. There is quite a dry finish.
Mouthfeel light with a slightly oily. I know, I said dry, but it is not sweet at all and there is hop oil for sure.
I really like this beer.

More of a session IPA than a pilsener due to the dominance of hops and somewhat heavier mouth feel, but very good as such.

Picked-up a six pack of cans at Tree House in Sandwich for about fourteen dollars. My 259th brew from these guys. Good beer, I prefer the Nelson version.

Nice frothy meringue head that dissipated quickly leaving bubbly frothiness and a plan Tang like look. Very tangy hop nose with a straw/grassy note. The vegetal grass straw flavor carries across to the palate with a hint of dried stone fruit like apricot. Feels a a wee bit sharp at the end.

Tasty but too bitter for the style
