Formerly known as Julius W/ Guava.
Sorbet is a rendition of Julius featuring water, malt, hops, yeast, and a blend of dried guava powder and fresh guava purée! Following trials from several different vendors, we settled on a high-quality guava powder that imparts potent notes of ripe guava and tropical fruit propelled by the character and vibrancy of guava purée. Simple in construct but immensely juicy in the outcome, Sorbet is a beer we are certain you will enjoy.
Keep it icy cold and enjoy it as FRESH as possible!

Pours opaque orange-gold with a 2 finger thick eggshell colored head to faded very slowly and left very nice lacing. Smells of tangerine, orange peel, guava juice, citrus fruit, papaya and light peppery spices. Tastes like tangerine, orange peel, guava juice, orange creamsicle, peach, coriander, dry chalky yeast, Razzles candy, more guava and then sweet fruit like the canned kind. It really does taste like sorbet and is a nice variant of Julius. The mouthfeel is dry and slick at the same time, with very mild carbonation and light bitterness. I like the original Julius much better, but I'd definitely have this again.

Pours a turbid orange color with a creamy white head that coats the glass. Gorgeous hazy. The nose has some note of the base beer, primarily mango and orange, but the guava is BY FAR the dominant aroma, and that is true on the taste as well.
The mouthfeel is medium and soft. The flavor profile is a bit one sided, but this still a beer that is more than worthy of your consideration, IMHO.

From a can dated 12/22/22. Very tasty overall. Guava-focused, for sure. Label is silent on whether this contains any lactose, but it tastes a bit like a milkshake IPA to me. In any event, Sorbet is a very nice NEIPA.
