A sneakily complex beer, this batch has been conditioned with chocolate fudge adding yet another layer of flavor! We taste sweet chocolate fudge, dark roasted coffee, caramel, and even a hint of smoke. It is absolutely loaded with flavor for a 5.6% beer, and the inclusion of lactose and fudge round the edge off of the dry, roasty notes found in a typical stout. The adult chocolate milk shake. . . now even more chocolatey!

Nose is dominated by coffee - not unpleasantly, but there’s barely a hint of the promised chocolate fudge.
More balanced on the palate, although coffee still leads the way. Nice bitter roasty and rich finish, with notes of toffee, caramel, coffee, fudge, and honeycomb.
A ton of flavor for the modest ABV, but at the same time, putting “fudge” in your mind makes you think of a thicker stout.
