Slightly cloudy pale yellow in color like wheat. Frisky and lively white head. Nose is somewhat lemony. Taste is light citrus flavors, lemon, orange with a soft white peppery finish.

Purchased cold nine days ago at Charlton in a mix-case, but it is priced at $16.40/4-pack. Kept cold until severed. Poured to a pretentious tulip-like glass from the 16oz stamped “LIVE WELL 10.24.25”.
The body pours out a slightly hazy orange. It does pass light and nucleation can be seen in the narrow lower part of the glass. Color is approximately SRM 4. The head is white, and large but fades to a single layer with a fat ring against the glass. Lacing happens, but it is subdued. The body clears up some during the session.
The aroma is mild and of sweetened grapefruit juice and subtle pine.
The taste is a little spicy, but the grapefruit really comes out, though more bitter than its play in the smell. Some pine on the finish, but not like a hardcore WCIPA.
There is a crisp character to this beer and with that slight haze it's a surprise. Carbonation is appropriate.
Overall- Well done, but not a wow beer. Probably a good way to experience Cascade if you love it or if you're one of the three craft beer people that have never had it.

As others have said, this isn't a traditional NEIPA, but it's damn good and lighter than normal Treehouse brews. I enjoyed it and echo the comment of another poster who wrote...."Smooth and clean and drinkable as hell."

I'd buy again on my next trip. Enjoy it while it's here.

This is not typical Tree House quality; no haze, no head, very little aroma or flavor

16 oz can.

Pours a mostly clear pale gold color with a large sudsy white head. The head has above average retention. Leaves plenty of clingy cobweb lacing. Great looking beer.

The aroma is extremely earthy and grassy, with some notes of grapefruit and lemon as well as a bit of pine. Very grainy. Light bready malt notes.

The flavor is classic old-school American pale ale, with notes of citrus, grass, grains and bready malts with a clean, piney finish. Ridiculously easy to drink.

The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and clean and drinkable as hell.

Overall, this is a great pale ale that's a nice showcase of the cascade hop. This isn't your typical Tree House hoppy beer so I can understand people not caring for it so much, but it's a nice ode to the classic Sierra Nevada pale ale types.

16 oz can, dated 9/28/22

pours a clear medium yellow golden color, thick white head. decent head retention. decent classic "c hop" aroma - some pine, grass, citrus. taste is similar - crisp, medium bitterness. not any crystal malt like SNPA which is sort of what I was expecting. thin to medium bodied.

Classic BA clowns in the previous reviews. They ignore the description and miss the intent of this beer. “ThIs Is nOt HAZY!” This is a crisp, crushable beer that highlights Cascade hops without any distractions. Perfect for cool weather.

Ok, I know I'm only the 4th to review... but I feel people are missing what this beer is supposed to be. Nice golden brown, mostly see through (that's right, not hazy) with a white head that leaves decent lacing. Bready biscuity malt on the nose, with floral, citrus, and pine on the hops, with a bit of spice. Orange, more pine on the taste, bready backbone, clean finish. Bright mouthfeel.

This is not... at all... your usual Tree House beer. It's a pale ale, like it says, Cascade forward, clean, and very drinkable. I think it's exactly what they were going for, and really good. But yeah, if you're looking for Haze, look elsewhere.
