Snickerdoodle is a barrel-blended Imperial Stout featuring various threads from our bourbon barrel program masterfully blended with fresh stout. The blend was then conditioned upon heaps of cinnamon and vanilla. The finished beer has incredible complexity with notes of snickerdoodle cookies, bourbon vanilla, chocolate vanilla ice cream, and pleasant whispers of oaky bourbon throughout. Decadent, well-rounded, and artfully crafted, Snickerdoodle is a beer to revere and celebrate—Enjoy!

Pours opaque, jet black in color with minimal head. Taste is big barrel, cinnamon syrup and slight chocolate malt. Heavy body, low carbonation, overly sweet. All I get is sweet, sticky malt and barrel. Not one of their better stouts. Missing cookie taste that would make this different from any other cinnamon stout. Tastes like a bad Framinghammer. Very two dimensional barrel and cinnamon. If you like pure cinnamon go for this. For me, a hard pass.

Minimal head production; not unexpected. Attractive enough beer regardless, a lovely dark bordering on black with a lovely dark brown tinge, and no visible sediment or floaties.

Huge, rich, wonderful aroma. Bourbon stands out prominently (despite being a blend, including un-aged stout), along with toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, oak, molasses, chocolate, espresso, and a bit of cinnamon - noticeable, but not overpowering.

Flavor follows. Everything works together for the benefit of the whole. Flavors come not in waves, but in eddies, swirling and blending, both confusing and delighting the palate. Bourbon, chocolate, bready dark cookie dough, brown sugar, molasses, raisin. Not overly sweet. The added vanilla seems primarily complementary, perhaps lost a bit beneath the bourbon, but definitely adding to the creamy, earthy richness. The cinnamon adds more of a touch of heat than it does overwhelming cinnamon flavor.

Full bodied, thick and chewy. Hot but long finish. Big, bold, boozy, but just restrained enough that you can still sip, savor, and chew.

Picked-up a single bottle at Tree House in Sandwich for ten dollars. No bottle on date that I could decipher. My two hundred and twenty sixth brew from these guys. Just ok for me, very boozy, no hint of Snickers, not worth the price point.

Dark brown appearance with a sparse tan head that recedes slowly to a collar, low retention, no lacing. Butterscotch, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon. Medium thick body, moderate carbonation.
