Mostly clear quite pale gold--just faintly, unevenly blurry--under a white foam head of moderately tall height.
Delightful white corn bread and fresh buns meet a gently prickly bitterness that's grassy yet shy of allium. This veers it very close to traditional Czech pilsy territory, actually, although a hint of peanut comes up later.
The medium body is softly, satisfyingly crisp, finishing semi-dry.

16 oz can.
Pours a lightly hazy golden straw color. Has a sudsy white head. Average retention but leaves a good bit of lacing.
Aromas of spicy hops, pine, grass, crackers and sweet corn.
Taste has some grapefruit, lemon zest, baked bread, and corn.
Body is medium-light. Good carbonation. Crisp with a dry finish.
Overall this is a pretty good hoppy light lager. Easy to drink. Just solid all around.

On tap at Tree House Brewing in Deerfield, MA.
This one pours a clear straw yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite crackery, with spicy and piney hop character, toasted corn, hay, and some light citrus.
The hopping on this one is perfect – there’s some definite elevated hop character here, with a touch more citrus and spiciness than I imagine the non-dry-hopped version has. It’s quite crackery, bready, with just the lightest toasted corn sweetness.
This is light bodied, very clean, and crisp, with a wonderful drinkability.
Tree House’s lager program has gotten so much better than the earliest Trail Magic days.
