Quadruple Shot Orange is a rendition of Quadruple Shot utilizing citrus-forward coffee paired with a hint of fresh citrus rind. The luxurious result tastes like sweet chocolate oranges, creamy coffee, and chocolate ice cream—Enjoy!

L - pours a rich, thicc brown. Motor oil in every sense of the word(s). Mocha tan head featuring a faint, crimson hue. Just a thin layer on top, but from the side, it looks like half a finger holding strong!
S - dark roast coffee infused with a deep, resonating citrus backbone. Graham crackers, orange syrup-filled chocolates, and lightly singed marshmallows.
T - sweetness of the orange comes out more on the tongue. Those orange slice candies drenched in Sunny D, all with a heavy chocolate cake character. Wish it was more orange juice concentrate orange and less artificial orange syrup orange, but it's tasty all the same. Hint of espresso and latte. More orange sugar on the burp.
F - sticky on the lips, leaving a faint cane sugar residue behind. Minimal carb that does froth if you froth it, but mostly velvety smooth.
O - many coffees have citrus undertones, so orange was a perfect flavor target. Based on some of these reviews, I'm guessing the coffee faded and the orange rose to the surface after a year and a half.

Canned 3/2022
A rich, deeply satisfying, intensely chocolatey stout dominates here. The coffee is subdued but plays well with base beer. I have to be honest and say I can't discern any citrus. No matter though, this is stellar.

12 oz can poured into a snifter. Pours an oily pitch black with a medium tan head. Good retention, little lacing. Aroma and flavor feature espresso, dark chocolate, and dark roasted malts. Some hop earthiness, too. Not much orange or citrus, or my scores would be higher. Mouthfeel is thick, viscous, and not boozy. Impressive. Overall this comes across to me like regular Quadruple Shot (which I haven't actually had) which is perfectly delicious, but I was hoping for more orange flavor.

This is quite an interesting one. We’ve all had chocolate oranges, but to put that flavor profile in a Stout is very strange. That being said, I’m excited to see just how weird it really is. Let’s get into it
Pours a very dark brown with 2 fingers of of creamy burnt brown head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The fruit here is subtle, really feeling more like the fruit-forward coffee used, but it’s still solid. I’m picking up on aromas of fruity coffee, raisin, chocolate fudge, sweet bourbon, caramel, and light orange rind
It’s more expressive in taste though still not exactly orange forward. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting sweet orange, sticky caramel, milk chocolate, sweetened coffee, vanilla, and light bourbon. The swallow brings notes of sweet orange, bright coffee, sticky caramel, chocolate fudge, raisin, and light vanilla
A thick body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a velvety and creamy beer. Finishes quite a bit sticky and leaves a film behind
While this isn’t my favorite Stout they’ve done, it’s definitely unique. Many of theirs trend sweeter, but it works for this one

For Treehouse, this was a lackluster stout. I find many of their flavors to be very present, especially in stouts. However, the promise of chocolate orange and coffee wasn't delivered for me. Don't get me wrong: This isn't a bad beer and is even a good stout. It just isn't remarkable as I've come to expect from this brewery.
L: Thick black. A bit splashed on the side of the glass while I poured and stuck like motor oil. It isn't the most attractive description, but it was foreboding of a thick, viscous, tasty stout. The caramel colored head was just shy of an inch high and quick to disappear.
S: Slight orange essence overcome by straight, malty stout. It smells good! But the flavor profile wasn't fully there.
T: This is where I became disappointed. Generally, I find that Treehouse lives up to its descriptions, but not so in this case. Anything orange, chocolate, or coffee was barely detectable if at all. It still tasted like a good stout, but it was more generic in that category than the description would lead you to believe.
F: By far not the thickest stout I've had from this brewery. It was still viscous but slightly thinner than usual. A thin stout perhaps.
O: Generic for Treehouse but still living up to its renowned brewery name. I'm not sorry to have tried it, but I wouldn't seek it out over something new in the future. Especially now that I know how underwhelming the flavor profile was for me.
