Canning date Spring 2025. Slightly hazy pour. Hoppy for sure and thirst-quenching.

Pours a pale hazy straw. A little white grape and lime on the nose. It's light, not too heavy handed on the hops, well accented lime and white grape. Some pepper. Have to give it to them, these hoppy lagers are well done.

a: clear straw yellow color with a large, 4 finger bubbly white head
s: huge hit of earthy, herbal hops upfront. lemongrass and grass. crackery malts, and some generic citrus zest
t: follows the nose closely. a combination of herbal and muted generic citrus hops upfront followed by a huge crackery note. grains and sweet grass with some a huge dry presence, almost like Brut. some white grapes and earthy tones
m: light mouthfeel, high carbonation
o: very well-made. as for a German Pils, it's interesting with the hop bill they use. the Nelson adds a uniqueness to this - it's extremely dry. not mind-blowing, but better than average

16 oz can poured into a willi becher glass. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma and flavor feature tropical fruit and citrus notes along with clean and crisp pilsner malt. Hoppy pilsner is not my favorite style, but Tree House really did a nice job here. Note: this beer paired perfectly with red seedless grapes. Not a combination I would ever have thought of, but my wife was eating the grapes and the pairing worked great.
