Sent my direction by @WunderLlama during the incredible NBS BIF #16.
Pours a foggy pale orange/yellow with a good two fingers of rocky foam and nice lacing as it slowly recedes.
Nose has elements of fruit but also a decent amount of yeast. I don't think I'd get to watermelon without the label on the can, and honestly even knowing that's what's in it, I don't know that I'm really picking any up so much as I'm looking for it really hard. It's more just kind of sweet fruity hops and yeast.
The taste certainly carries more of the sweet fruit hops and this is where, knowing what to look for, I definitely get watermelon... but not like actual watermelon, more the watermelon candy version of 'watermelon.' There's still a lot of yeast in there as well. Even the finish isn't that bitter, more the kind of chalky-candy residue that I get with DDH brews (which I don't think this is?), and some yeast.
Body is kind of chalky and somewhat soft, with sharp little carbonation.
Thanks for sending so many Tree House treats Maynard!!

Canned 7.27, opened 8.6.22, “beach day beer”
Indeed, this beer tastes like summer
Poured into a tree house teku glass hazy orange liquid, streams of micro-carbonation crowned by a two finger creamy egg shell white foam cap, excellent retention, settles to a one finger thick layer after 10 minutes , some lacings
Aroma is melon, honeydew, watermelon , sweet florals, whiff of peach
Taste is juicy melon, yellow watermelon, honeydew
Soft and smooth mouthfeel , the watermelon taste nicely lingers
Another fine Tree House beer

Canned 7/27/22. “Beach day beer“ stamped on the bottom of the can
Tree House tends to do well with fruited IPAs, but is watermelon really gonna work here? Watermelon-adjuncted beers aren’t necessarily uncommon, but adding it to a NEIPA is relatively unheard of, at least to me. Let’s see if TH can make this delicate fruit shine with this one
Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
Oh man, this is actually super expressive in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of ripe watermelon, cantaloupe, sweet honey, tangerine zest, bready malt, light grassy hops, and mango
Even still in taste, the watermelon really shines through more than I had expected. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting sweet watermelon, orange juice, pineapple, bready malt, bubblegum, and grassy hops. The swallow brings notes of sweet watermelon, honey, cantaloupe, doughy malt, grassy hops, orange marmalade, and pineapple
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a creamy beer. Finishes neutral but could use more of a bite to it
This is super unique for the style. Not my favorite by any means, but it’s a nice change of pace that more breweries should try

Pours ultra hazy, maize in color with one third inch head. Taste is big watermelon, orange juice and starfruit. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. I really like the taste of watermelon and this is the dominant flavor. Not overly sweet like a Jolly Rancher but still fruit forward. Happy with the purchase.
