L - dark, mysterious orange murk with a faint glow, like a dying reactor core. Jiggly jell-o head that leaves chunks of lacing behind.
S - fresh and vibrant fruit aromatics. Strawberry kiwi smoothie, playful coconut, and ripe mango juiciness.
T - cantaloupe and jackfruit up front with a penetrating peach fruitiness. Lightly tart passionfruit with orange juice tang. Sugary guava tempered by herbal hops. Finish is dry. Beautifully balanced between tha juice and hops.
F - soft as a chinchilla with medium body that belies the higher ABV. Creamy at first with a slight watery finish. TH has felt better in my mouth.
O - Shore was a great beer and the King is no different. More intense and hoppy, but more rewarding juiciness. Dangerously drinkable with a thirst-quenching bitterness.

Had from a can. Boozier than most treehouse brews. Good but not great. Nice flavor and mix between alcohol and fruitiness.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy dark orange with a fluffy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. No floaters.
S: Very tropical with notes of passion fruit, guava and peach. Slightly sweet. Almost like passion fruit sorbet or a passion fruit popsicle.
T: Less fruity than its smell but the tropical notes are still dominating. Not too sweet, rather crisp and grassy. Not really citrusy, but somehow zesty. Hints of vanilla and bubblegum are hiding behind the hops and fruits. Slightly bitter finish.
F: Very juicy and quite drinkable. Medium carbonation. A bit sharp.
O: Although I‘m a huge fan of TH‘s fruited IPAs, this one falls a bit short on my expectations. Definitely a very good beer, but I would have expected it to be smoother and even fruitier. However, it looks and smells great and is just another example of their outstanding craftsmanship.

Wow! What a punch to this and I mean that in both ways (har har). Pours like a standard, beauty of a TH beer. The aroma'll git ya! Mélange of attractive passion fruit and guayaba tastes. Tastes and smells like a mix of "Boing" flavors (delicious Mexican juice soft drink) with perfume and oranges mixed in in even proportions. Very complex, very pointed, very fruity, very inviting. The flavor follows along the same path with a sharpness to the passion fruit that isn't in the aroma. The perfumey quality comes out more and that is absolutely a good thing! I wonder how much of it is from the hops and how much is the booze coming through. This feels like they all do. Luscious and lovely. This is a nice beer and is at the forefront of any fruit addition technology that I've ever seen. Though I am FAR from an expert. And that brings me to an apropo mini-rant: it is so perfectly a snapshot of fruit that it succeeds in somewhat ceasing to be beer-like. There is straight up an underripe sourness that lingers in your mouth like you were drinking juice. Don't get me wrong, I loved this and it accomplished what it set out to do in spades, but in some ways they went too far. Now get off my lawn!

Love Tree House beers. This one is just too sweet and fruity for my taste.

Quite a few brewers have directed their style towards guava and passion fruit.
This is the real deal. Radical. Not a go-to beer. It’s like sipping a single malt scotch whiskey slowly- except this is a craft beer.
Very intense passion fruit and guava in both the aroma and taste. The aroma is very prominent, unlike many DIPAs. It’s an experience drinking this beer. Not a daily brew, but unquestionably a worthwhile experience for a craft beer drinker who has tasted a lot of different styles and approaches to brewing.
